I am writing you this email for the wonderful work you did the other day.I would like to remind you about the project which we were working upon the last week.I was very happy in the way you recommended my name to the Project Manager Mr. Ashok Bajpai ,for the person who was heading the whole project.Although I was the key member in the whole project,but I never expected that I will be recommended as the Team Lead by you and the other members.I know you will say that it was the decision of the whole team to recommend you,but I personally feel that the final decision revolved around you as you were the expected team head which we all expected during the project days.
