Principles Vs. Tactics
Re: Principles Vs. Tactics
Principles are like guidelines and frames which gives us the right path to follow but ultimately its our own added tactics that will give us good results provided applied correctly. The tactics are somewhat situational instincts and if applied correctly may get us good results but if its in the wrong direction might get us bad results. So we should always apply our own tactics to tackle the situation for maximum gains but should not go against the principles that we believe.
Re: Principles Vs. Tactics
Principle have their foundation on three values like Integrity,Respect,Responsibility. Its depend upon one's personal values and understanding where as tactics are manipulative. We use different tactics for different situations and requirement. So we implement both to gain success and get the work done.
Re: Principles Vs. Tactics
Principles are the belief towards the one's personal behavior.Humanity, trust, honor are the examples of Principles.
Principle remains constant throughout our life.Tactics are the actions which planned to achieve the goal.
So to gain success in work,we should use both i.e principles & tactics.

Re: Principles Vs. Tactics
You can't use either one only. Principles are needed to be there, tactics can be different. When you are competing in a market where lots of substitutes and other players are there, you can't afford to go against your principles. Tactics are to be used and are necessary but its should not go against the principles.Principles define your company, customers retain your principles not your tactics that how you sold them ??
Principles Vs. Tactics
Most of the salespersons use both techniques to bring out positive results, they don't even give a minute to think that which tactic to use to get the best out of a deal. But actually both principles & tactics are completely different approaches, so in your opinion which is the best & when it comes to you which one you will implement.
