An employer brand represents the image a company projects as a potential employer. If we have a strong employer brand and good unique value proposition the the company is considered as the distinctive place to work with attractive brand values. In today's highly competitive job market, employer branding is a very important , useful and a crucial tool for attaching and retaining the right kind of talent. It helps in recruiting highly skilled and promising new employees and enhance their loyalty by increasing their identification with the company. It also increases the organization's visibility and strength. The harmony among the employers also increases. It makes one stand strong in the job market and help one own self for the future betterment.

Yes, Agree with what Pearl & Namita had to say!

But All that glitters is not gold is a well-known saying, and according to me working with a small firm/ organization is far better in following manner:

We, as employees have more visibility at the workplace.
Lesser hierarchy... more responsibility & accountability leading to additional sense of motivation.
More approachable to the seniors.
Individual decisions taken into consideration; our work, Ideas and contributions are noticed
Higher learning opportunities
Transparency between the employees and bosses, make you feel an important part of the company

Although there are +ves & -ves, salaries, the team size & the other benefits might not be as "Glamorous" to those of big shot MNCs, but employees get an assured job satisfaction while working for smaller companies.

Yes Branding plays a vital role,as it communicates our identity as an organisation to other. It is the essence of what our organisation stands for and specifies the nature of the job.
It is the process of placing an image of being a "GREAT PLACE TO WORK" in the minds of existing and prospective employees.

Yes....
Brand plays a role in deciding the co one opt for...
The co which is known in the industry & is leader, credit goes to the employer, who is behind the name of that co..who made it reach the height of success...
And that is the reason people have their first choice to join those Giant leaders of industry..
Brand decides our every choice, from our dressing to life style... our interiors speak loud about our taste.. similarly the organisation in which we are working speak's about our success.. That what called Brand Power..!!!

Employer Branding

Branding has become an integral element in our daily lives. From deciding which brand of soft drink to purchase, to which restaurant to visit or sports shoes to buy, branding plays an influential role in our decision making.
With the power of branding so persuasive, does it also plays a role in which company we choose to work for?
