On November 12, Panasonic has announced the launch of a new Selfie smartphone ELUGA S of Rs.11,190.The smartphone will be available from the third week of November.According to company the device has a very attractive feature of Blink Play, that automatically initiates a three-second countdown for capturing selfies from the front 5-megapixel camera when the user blinks.
The phone sports a 5-inch (720X1080p) IPS HD display. It is powered by a 1.4GHz MediaTek 'True octa-core' processor and 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage and supports microSD card slots of up to 32GB for expansion. The phone has a 2100mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with Panasonic's Fit Home UI which, as per the company facilitates single hand operation.
Pansnic Eluga S sports an 8MP rear camera with auto-focus, support for HD recording and LED flash, and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie fans. The phone has a 7.9mm thin unibody form factor and will be available in black and white colour variants with stitched leather finish at the back. Panasonic will also offer a flip cover and a screen guard with the phone.
