Money is yours but resources belong the society. If you are not aware that what is the reason behind the advancement of these developed countries, hope after reading this quote reason should be clear to you. There thinking is different to us and they care about this environment and other natural resources. They do not believe in this show off campaign. Whenever an Indian visits any European country he praises about the cleanliness and other things like traffic rules etc and think that there government or administration is doing great job. The biggest mistake which we commit is that we think it is the responsibility of govt and in India we blame the government for all these bad things. The point behind their cleanliness is their citizens cooperate with the government or administration to keep their cities clean and in the smooth movement of traffic.
So in short this is the thinking which makes or breaks the nation.

Very Well said, "Money Is Yours But Resources Belong The Society"!
I personally feel this quote conveys a very great message. We often do waste water, food, money, clothes and etc; other things which people who are poor cannot even afford them in their lives. Of course the money is ours but as a human being and with kind heart we must think of everyone's well being. Resources belong to mother nature though we humans utilize it, as we are the children of mother nature and it is every living beings right to make use of it.
We need to keep in mind that we must make use of resources of what is required and not to consume excess and then waste it. There are also others to whom it might be useful.
Not only in India, but in many other countries resources are being wasted and we people are very much aware of it. There is no point in blaming our own country when the whole world is involved in such acts and though everyone is aware of it, very few people follow of not wasting the resources.
Though I may be wrong and I am not pointing anyone but my perception towards people who spend a lot and waste things, please realize that if not you then to someone else the things might be useful.
Please do not waste resources, take how much you wants and save the rest for others.

Money Is Yours But Resources Belong The Society
Germany is a highly industrialized country. In such a country, many will think its people lead a luxurious life.
When we arrived at Hamburg , my colleagues walked into the restaurant, we noticed that a lot of tables were empty. There was a table where a young couple was having their meal. There were only two dishes and two cans of beer on the table. I wondered if such simple meal could be romantic, and whether the girl will leave this stingy guy.
There were a few old ladies on another table. When a dish is served, the waiter would distribute the food for them, and they would finish every bit of the food on their plates.
As we were hungry, our local colleague ordered more food for us.When we left, there was still about one third of un-consumed food on the table.
When we were leaving the restaurant, the old ladies spoke to us in English, we understood that they were unhappy about us wasting so much food.
"We paid for our food, it is none of your business how much food we left behind," my colleague told the old ladies. The old ladies were furious. One of them immediately took her hand phone out and made a call to someone. After a while, a man in uniform from Social Security organisation arrived. Upon knowing what the dispute was, he issued us a 50 Euro fine. We all kept quiet.
The officer told us in a stern voice, "ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS IN THE WORLD WHO ARE FACING SHORTAGE OF RESOURCES. YOU HAVE NO REASON TO WASTE RESOURCES."
The mindset of people of this rich country put all of us to shame. WE REALLY NEED TO REFLECT ON THIS. We are from country which is not very rich in resources. To save face, we order large quantity and also waste food when we give others a treat.
