HARDWORK is the best mantra in all the work we do. If you do hardwork, it definitely pays off. Everyone should always be ready to work hard for the task or target that has been alloted to them. But with the hard work , its also important to work smart as sometimes which hard work is not able to do , is done by the smart work. In smart work, more of the time and energy is saved. Hence , it is a better option than hardwork. But doing smart work always doesnt lead people anywhere, therefore there should be a mixture of both the hardwork and smart work to lead towards the goals effectively and efficiently.

According to me hardwork is important but smart work is also necessary.
Because in todays competitive world the person with the combination of both hardwork and smart work can make success in his/her life.
Hard work is a mantra for success, but if we go according to this everyone is working hard daily but everyone is not getting success.
For example many of the employees in Reliance, Tata, Infosys, Birla are from last many years and still they are working hard and they are not get the same success.
But some of them who included the smart work with their hardwork are today successful persons.

God help those who help themselves. yes, this statement justifies for hard work the mantra for sales in success. Hard work is very important in life. Though now the era speaks of smart work, But to learn that smart work you need to work hard a lot. You don't get anything easily in life. You have to strive for it and work really hard to achieve it. Sales though being a difficult job, requires a lot of hard work. They need to work constantly and the work they are doing should be which will provide good results. T all there are two types of people in the world- hard working and hardly working. Hard working people work with all their efforts and will perform to their fullest. Whereas, hardly working are the people who are lazy and they rarely do any work. For sales, we need hard working people.

Yes hard work is the mantra for success in sales. but along with hard work, smart work also important. In sales , sales person should put maximum efforts to gain more profits, hard work increases their potential also.If we are hardworking, we can deal with any obstacle, even most of scientists like Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein have done hard work and they invented things. If we do hard work the things will be gonna smart.

I Partially agree with the statement because Hardwork needs to be mix with the flavor of Smartness to complete the Sales Process. In today's cut throat competition ,One has to find a way to reach the customer at a minimum time and extract the desired information to cut short the process and proceed to other Opportunity.

According to me its hard work along with the smart work which should be the mantra for sales.
In sales every one gives there 100% but there are few who in there 100% hard work have 15-20% of there smart work which helps them in getting recognition out of the huge crowd.
One should not just keep on doing hard work, they should analyse the whole situation & then take decision as how the work should start, here comes the smart work.
There are a lot of people who just follow what there superiors have asked them to do & they keep on giving there 100%, but there are few who analyse the situation and after analysis is over they start working accordingly. This analysis is the key point of differentiation among the huge crowd & the few successful people.
As mentioned above "Recently NDTV has awarded 25 living legends of India . They included Mukesh Ambani,Indra Noyi, Tendulkar,Amitabh Bachan etc." yes they have done hard work but along with that they have analyze the market, people needs, etc. and have delivered accordingly.

Yes...I am a firm believer that HARD WORK always work everywhere then whether it is in sales or in studies. According to me Hard work is the mantra to get success in sales but on the other hand this is also true that your skills, your experience also plays an important role in sales because at some places instead of hard work smart work is needed and it depends on the situation as well.
One more and very interesting term is noticed which people call it as "JUGAAD" or you can say "a short cut" or "Kuch bhi karo bus kaam ho jae" is very common among people to just fulfill their targets which I really don't support.

Hence according to me and as per my little experience your hard work always help you to get success in sales and no other trait is required if you will do your work whole heartedly and dedicatedly.

In a nutshell "Success has a simple formula:Do your best, and people will like it"

Hard work is always the key essence of success in any field, to be more precise, in sales too. But as per the ever evolving market conditions, Hard work is required to be clubbed with many other vital factors like analysis of the current prevailing market situations, current sales trends, understanding the need of the hour etc to achieve success in the field of sales.

If we approach our target market with this strategy, It would surely help to be a success in the field of sales.
