After sales service:-
Most of the sales persons think that selling a product is typical task. But providing a service to the customer after purchasing is a typical task. Customers purchase different products if they like, but after purchasing if any problem occurs with product company people should reach customer within 24 hours and they should resolve that problem. Then only customer loyalty will increases, even brand image also increases. If a company provides better service to customers, then they won’t lose their customers. Service is important after sales for each and every company.

After sales service is very important for the organisation as it helps in gaining the customer loyalty and brand image of the product. Evry organisation should provide after sales service to its customers which helps them in keeping the same level of satisfaction which boost them to buy the product again. Most of the organisation close there deal once the sales is been done. but this should not happen. Providing with the after sales service increases the company s goodwill in the market.

Basically most of the sales people think that selling the product is the most important thing and the customers will be satisfied if the product is fulfilling their needs but it is a wrong assumption.since,customer satisfaction is not merely depends upon the product but also service provided later on purchase.Generally,it creates a relation between the customer and the organisation and helps in retaining that customer.However, we know that cost of creating a new customer is five times more than that of retaining the existing,we can save a lot of money and also create brand loyalty in customers.

In general organizations think that once the product is sold their job is done.this assumption worked well in the past days but in present scenario due to the advancement in technology ,management strategies and competitive business environment it doesnt work, because the customer is available with many alternatives so he/she can opt for any it is difficult for organizations to retain customers by leaving their hand after the sales. so by providing them with effective service may make the customers stay connected with the organization, it creates a effective bond between both the customer and organization.And it makes customers more convinient with the product.

For any organisation after sales service is very important. Most of the companies think that there work is over once there sales is completed but they should understand that Its not the last step in Marketing. In fact once the product is been sold to the customers , feedback regarding the product on the daily basis should be taken by the companies so that they have the idea what customers are thinking regarding there product. Hence accordingly the companies should provide the consumers with the after sales service which gives more satisfied customers to the organisation.Hence, After sales service should be carried on by various organisation in order to satisfy customers.

After sales service is an very important aspect of sales though many companies and businesses neglect it. It involves how good services you provide to the customers post sales. eg. Tata sky digital set top box company after sales service are very impressive. They will come within a day if customer faces any problem with the set top box. This is how after sales service is to be maintained. Customers expect from companies to provide good after sales service but, many companies fail to provide them as they do not reflect upon this concept. Nowadays, as cut throat competition is prevailing in the market, it is necessary to emphasize on after sales service because consumers see as to which company provides better sales service and then accordingly select the product or service. This helps in attracting more customers and increasing the customer base.

Selling of the product is not only selling the product but its all about how you treat and respond to your customers after selling the product. Many a times customers face problems of faulty product. The sales service actually lies in how fast you identify the fault , repair it and deliver it to the customer and gain his satisfaction. If the product needs servicing after a certain time and customers forget it, sales service lies in reminding the customers about it or approaching their home for servicing if it can be done at home.
After sales service also involves keeping in touch which the customers by messaging them on certain offers , or discounts that are happening at the outlet to keep the customers reminded about the company and motivate them to purchase . Customers tend to visit the company and buy more products if they are satisfied with the product and they are satisfied with service of the company ,hence customers should be treated well and the service should be in such a way they are satisfied.

After sales service being the last stage of the product selling is of due importance for any organisation. Organistion after there product has been sold thinks that there work is over. But this is a wrong perception . infact the most important and crucial part of product selling starts from there. The organisation needs to keep feedback of the customers they have sold their product. Confirming that the customers are happy with the product or are facing problems is a resposibility of the organisation which must be taken very seriously. This not only increases customer satisfaction but also companys good name in the market. For any organisation its advisable to provide the after sales services and be in contact with the customers to know about the whereabout regarding the product sold by them .

After sales services is extremely important as it helps in maintaining a long term relationship thus expecting more business through repeated sales as well as added to the goodwill and brand value.
It also adds to the quality and value of product/services being offered
