Product positioning is all about how the product occupies place in the consumer’s mind relative to other competitive product. Positioning itself is the of the most important factors that directly influence the market to buy your product it also helps you to reduction in cost that many product bear with expending his recourses in communicating the product. Now let we talk about how generally the positing gets created. Product positing can be created through product differentiation and services differentiation that is nothing but outcome of identifies the possible competitive advantages of your relative competitors. And by communicating the uniqueness charters tics of the product and fulfillment of the promise to deliver you can create the product positing in consumer mind. Another few points that may help to set better position in consumer mind is positioning of your product does not only take in to consideration of your product’s strengths but also of competitive advantages.

The development of any marketing mix depends on positioning. It is a process that influences the potential customers , the overall perception of a brand, product line, or organization in general. It is a strategy that many firms use to distinguish their products from those of competitors. Positioning is not what we do to the product but it is what we do to the mind in which we process the product.The main positioning is done by our customers. It is designing the company's offerings and image to occupy a distinctive place in the market. A products position is how potential we see the product in our eyes. Selecting a slot distinctly different from the competitors can avoid direct confrontations with them.

Product Positioning means identifying and attempting to occupy a market position for a product or service. It is a way by which marketers attempt to create a different impression in their customer's mind. Organisations presents their product in best possible way to different target audience...

Product Positioning means creating meaningful image about the product in the customers mind.This process involves understanding the customers actual needs, identifying the products of the competitors,analysing the market gap and finally designing the product so that it can fill the gap and can meet the customer requirements.Product positioning plays a very important role in the success of the product.

It depends upon identifying a product's uniqueness and differentiation.. Product positoning can be done as per the below mentioned process:-

1. Identify the direct competitors and their portfolio of services.
2. Understand the product positioning process of competitors.
3. Identify the areas for differentiations can be made for the products.
