It is true that rejection in sales is the biggest fear that nay sales person will have. And, it very important to handle such rejections. First of all because of the prevailing competition, the sales person should know the USP of product and should know the tactic to explain why his product is better than the other products. Other than that he should have self confidence that one day or the other he will crack his target. If the salesperson is facing rejection, he should figure out why people are rejecting him. He should find out the mistakes and try to overcome him. It is through mistakes that people learn. So in start, the sales person may face rejection, but then with his self confidence and the ability to overcome mistakes will help in achieving success.

I agree with the Statement that one of the biggest fear in sales is Fear of Rejection and to overcome this I would say that the sales person would have huge smile all the time in his face no matter if he gets some rejection then also he/she should love his journey of sales, cos if he enjoys his journey few rejection wont let him down and ultimately he will prove to be successful.

Also I would say one of the biggest way to tackle fear of rejections would be do lots and lots of Hard Work because if hard work is done, law of averages would come and through this result would be visible and fear of rejection wont have impact the performance of Sales Person.

One of the biggest hurdles in being a successful salesperson is the 'fear of rejection' from your target customers. In todays world the level of competition has gone beyond clouds to reach stars. There might be 10 similar products available into the market as to yours. So the question which arises is "Why a person will opt for your product leaving all other similar products behind ?" which makes it very difficult to sell in the actual market and may also lead to rejection sometimes.
The reason for rejection can be any- for example- A similar product is available at a lower cost than yours, or might be with better features, or it can be a case that the customer had already made up his mind to purchase the competitors product, etc.
Knowing all these things one should not let himself/herself down, rather should be prepared to tackle the obstacles coming in his/her way.
One of the few ways to tackle rejection can be- One should be well aware about his product that what features if posses, at what best price it can be sold in the market, what are the features that our own product has but the competitor does not (for which one should be well aware of the competitors offering also), how to convince a customer to buy your product who had his mind made up to buy another (try practicing it with your friends, colleagueas in free time), etc.
By trying all these methods one can surely overcome the rejection in sales to a great extent.

One has to face many rejections while doing the sales .. As we look into the current scenario their are so many innovations taking place and multiple choice are available in the market.. it is difficult for the sales person to convince the customer, as well as for the customer to stick on the single product with better facility provided by every competitor. So if sales person faces a rejection he must understand that some where he is lacking and he should find ways to get over it ,because if we don't face rejections we will not able to know what are weakness is.
Coming on how to deal with rejections in sales ... It can be done properly understanding first, what your product or service is, second ,what are competitors offering in the market ,third, what are substitutes available and lastly, what will be the threat from the new entrants . By this sales person can man-oeuvre his customers and win the customers by making them buy the product.

rejections in sales are very common, one should not get demotivated if faces rejections.
Rejections makes you try new things, if a sales person is not rejected in beginning it means he/she is not trying anything new.
One should take rejection as a learning process.
It will help them to overcome the rejections in future & also to prepare themselves to analyse what went wrong & the reason for rejection.
It will help them in future when the same situation comes & the customer is about to reject the deal & you will be aware as what next is to be done.

It is simple we fill a balloon with air it becomes big and beautiful. Similar for sales people they should feel that their confidence balloon is getting filled up and they do better in next sale
