The way back in 19th century when production started thing like holistic marketing was nothing there an d nobody would had imagined of that.in that era the mass production was the only phenomenon which was started and else nothing was there .mass production meant producing millions of tons of articles as alike and no variety was there.you can imagine of that era, no scope of any holistic marketing was there.then came the era of some variety and more combinations of designs and color and patterns
than the era of holistic marketng started somewhere in late 1960's when the need of change was there.
business started to see the welfare of the nation, customers, environment and broadly as human race :)
so company started taking rationale decision as a whole wherein the decision was taken by taking all the things in the consideration and the name was given to it: holistic marketing.

Holistic marketing acknowledges that everything matters in marketing and that a broad, integrated perspective is often necessary. This concept is based on the development, design and implementation of marketing programs, Perspective and activities that recognize their breadth and interdependencies.
Following are the components of holistic marketing
1) Relationship marketing: It aims to build mutually satisfying long-term relationships with key constituents in order to earn and retain their business. To develop strong relationships with them requires understanding their capabilities and resources, needs, goals and desires.
2) Integrated Marketing: It occurs when the marketer devises marketing activities and assembles marketing programs to create, communicate and deliver value for consumers. For example when a hospital buys an MRI from general electric’s medical system division, for instance, it expects good installation, maintenance and training services to go with the purchase.
3) Internal Marketing: It is the task of hiring, training, and motivating able employees who wants to serve customer well. It makes no sense to promise excellent service before the company’s staff is ready to provide.
4) Performance Marketing: It requires understanding the financial and non financial returns to business and society from marketing activities and programs.

Holistic marketing is the marketing approach that is coming up these days. Holistic marketing is the process of designing, implementing the marketing program. Holistic marketing is different from all the other approaches of marketing. Usually, some approaches have only perspective and they tend to benefit from one single angle only. However, Holistic marketing considers all the viewpoints and develops strategies for different angles and benefit the same. It considers all the problems and develops one such single strategy that solves all the problem. It does not think from the point of an individual, but from the point of entire society. It is macro concept. It helps in many ways and develops the organissation. Moreover, the marketing problems don't pop up very frequently. Because, holistic marketing approach brings our strategic plans and outcomes which gives good end results.

A marketing strategy that is developed by thinking about the business as a whole, its place in the broader economy and society, and in the lives of its customers. It attempts to develop and maintain multiple perspectives on the company’s commercial activities. It’s not looking at the discipline of marketing from the standpoint of each individual component, but rather taking everything into account that affects a particular marketing strategy or approach, and understanding what marketing means from that angle. Holistic marketing”is not only a new marketing paradigm, but it provides a new way of looking at a business. It is based on the development, design, and implementation of marketing programs, processes, and activities that recognize their breadth and interdependencies.
