To generate leads, Strategic Objectives created a cross-channel model: PESOF

P – Paid amplification of your content

E – Earned media through public relations

S – Shared content – that is both owned content that others share, and found content that you share with your audience

O – Owned content like websites, blogs, social connections, etc.

F – Found – use a Search Engine Optimization strategy to identify the keywords your audience is searching for, and then utilize these keywords in your content creation strategy and web copy.

Some of the great ways through which leads could be generated are as follows:

1. To deliver the right content to the right prospect at the right time.
2. So much social media marketing and content marketing fails when the recipient of the message isn’t clear about what to do with it. Be clear with the content message.
3. Understand your potential customers including their influencers, end-users and social media community
4. Provide your market with the information they need to make an informed decision
5. Incorporate a contextually relevant . CAll to call action.
6. Continually test each step of your lead generation and purchase process.

There are many things we can do for lead generation from traditional solutions to modern solutions. These days social media marketing helps us for lead generation as a large number of people can be connected at one place itself. People are much more addicted towards social media. Everything that has to be done you find nowadays to be online be it buying expensive gadgets or buying even grocery. People will notice more you on social media by putting more of advertisements and facebook, linkedin, twitter pages etc. Cold calls is a traditional method which most of the companies don't follow. However, if the organisation is such that people can be connected through calling for lead generation then that should be followed. Along with this social media marketing should also be followed.

Lead generation is something we cannot predict which source provides a valid lead. In the dynamic business environment, every individual becomes a source of lead that brings client directly, not mere lead.

Hi all,

I think the best way to generate the leads in by calling the prospects. You should not outsource this because the in outsourcing you will not get that quality of leads. If you are looking leads of good quality then you have small team from lead generation and that team should have good data for calling (You can purchase data from if you don't have). They should call the prospects but they should not act like a telecaller. We should understand that there a slight difference between a tele caller and lead generation guy.

1) Target Best Buyers - you should target and concentrate on these “Best Buyers” first, because this will be the easiest way to grow your business and profitability. So take a few minutes now to create a profile of who your most “Dream Client” is.

2) Being Proactive With Your Leads - The key to success with handling leads is to have an aggressive and proactive system in place, even if it’s a simple as picking up the phone and calling your lead. Each new lead responded to you because they were interested, so pounce on each opportunity.

a) Keeping in touch with prospects via a series of ongoing communications
b) Should have Search Engine Optimization /Internet marketing strategies to attract prospects at the beginning of their buying cycle.
c) E-mail publications,Direct mail,Print advertising and Event marketing are some of the other techniques.

For sales lead one can opt following methods -
You can do direct mail to your best buyers
You can buy leads from the Internet Search Engines like - Pay-Per-Click Search Engines (PPCSEs).
You can do Advertising also
