There are always exception to any rule, and the same stands true for education. There have been cases where individuals who had not gone through formal education achieved success by the strength of character and sheer will power, however that does not mean that we should discard the importance of education in being successful in our lives.

When someone wants to disparage the importance of education, the examples of great men and women who changed the world are often quoted. We are reminded of how Einstein failed school, but it is not mentioned that Einstein had excellent grades, and he failed school because he had a problem with authoritarian teachers, to the extent that he once threw a chair at a teacher whose teaching style he didn't like.

Knowledge is, and has always has been hereditary in nature, passed on from a teacher to a student. Alexander III of Macedon, also known as Alexander the Great was educated by Aristotle, who was a student of Plato; Plato was in turn a prized student of Socrates, father of western philosophy himself. Influence of all the great men and women who came before us, has been shaping the way we lead our lives from time immemorial. We may not be able to learn from them personally, but we can still learn from the words they have left in their wake, words that in their absence assume the role of teachers.

Education does not simply comprise of information being passed on to the learners, it is knowledge and wisdom of all the generations and great individuals who came before us.

Yes we really need education for getting success because now a days education has become a very important factor for getting success.
Education is all about getting knowledge in every field like science, commerce and arts. Education is the main source from where we can choose right path and we can take right decision in the field of buisness and corporation. Thus success is directly proportional to education.

Success as defined is a relative term. Success may differ from person to person. What I may call success may be a learning for someone else. Success doesn't appear overnight , it takes real toil , hard work , sincere dedication and proficiency in skills in order to become competent. To inherit skills & knowledge one needs to be educated. Education is that platform which acquaints an individual with skills , learning and knowledge. Education helps in broadening our mind , looking towards the world with a wider perspective. Education helps in enlightening our lives. It gives an edge over other factors.
However education is not only the prime factor in contributing to success. It is one of the ways of being successful. Nothing in this world , but your sincere effort and desire to succeed can help you in being successful. There is no actual parameter to judge success. It is your own happiness ,satisfaction and being contented.

Hence to conclude with , it is important to be hard working , dedicated towards any work you do, may it be painting to become a painter like M.F.Hussain or Vinita Bali - Managing Director of Britannia industries & last but not least faith and desire to succeed.

Education is the basic factor which we should have to be successful. Now the definition of success could vary from people to people so accordingly requirement of education will change. Some people consider huge wealth as a symbol of success and some people consider their happiness as a symbol of success. Whatever the definition of success remains but need for education will always be there. Now the education could be formal or informal irrespective of that it leads to the development of the individual.
So education is very much required to be successful.

Education is definitely needed for getting success..But in my opinion people get educated in two ways,
-Through own experience
-Through school, colleges, universities, etc
But people who get educated by experiences learns thoroughly and practically and people who gets educated through educations institutions learns theoretically which he/she might use in professional life. eg. there are many successful business persons who are school dropouts but are very successful both in professional and personal life whereas there are many examples where people are highly educated but they fail both in professional and personal life...So we should balance both...

Do we really need Education for getting Success?
Yes now a day’s we need education for getting success. From education we can teach and learn lot of things which will be very useful our personnel growth and by this we can contribute something to society also. World is changing day by day, so we need to change a lot according this environment. If we educate our self then only we can sustain in this world. We need adopt lot of things to develop our self and by this we know about what is going on in the universe. Education teaches us how to respect world and parents and friends and how to maintain good reactions in the corporate. More over for all these things we don’t need go to college or school, self learning is more important, because we learn 20% from our books and college, but we learn 80% things from society and corporate world. These things will help us to how to behave with others and what to do and what not to do. Education is not only for success, it helps to know what life is. Whether it is self learning or anything.

Yes, we really need education to sustain in this competitive world. Coming to getting success, yes for this we also need education. education doesnot mean that you have to go to college and you should have number of degrees. Education means to gain knowledge.
Knowledge helps to get success in your life and in this competitive world.
if you have know ledge about the particular concept then depend upon them you can do anything and create new ideas. For example many of scientists and successful persons are not so much educated but they gained the knowledge from their education at whatever level they studied and by using that knowledge and in order to d the knowledge they have created number of miracles and they like ideal person for everyone.

If we consider 21st century, then it is true that we need education. But, this may not be the same in all cases. We have examples of people who have not pursued education and still their companies are ranked as one of the top companies in India( if we talk about India). We have examples of Dhirubhai Ambani, Marc Zuckerberg etc. Education is not getting just good degrees and diplomas. Education is kind of transferring a stone into a diamond. It is important as it gives you the training to manage, to face problems, to have the right kind of attitude. And because of increasing competition, we should be competent enough to compete in this competition. And education is the only way which develops your mind in proper direction, so that you can think strategically and bring out solutions and out of box ideas.

It depends on what you consider "success" to be. Some people measure success by income, others measure success by their happiness, others measure success by their reputation/respect from others, and so on. It's also important that you understand we're talking mostly about CHANCES. There are plenty of stories of under-educated people going on to have arguably very successful lives. But it's important to understand that those are the exceptions that prove the rule. The rule is: The more educated you are, the higher your chances of success in life. Overall, research (and common sense) is pretty clear on a lot of things

Yes, to become successful education plays an important role.Yes, Education includes moral values, ethics and many more. But nowadays meaning of education is misunderstood by us. Without education nothing is achieved. In my view education means which lead us to our destiny. It is one's perception how he/she takes it. Education lead us to develop or destruct, when head and heart is added to education can surely be take us to be successful.

Education does not mean that you are having some degrees or you are in some class standard, even though something more than that..
1) Etiquette
2)Responsibility for society
3) Helping others

By which a person can become successful...
