This happens to most of the organization. So much money and time has been thrown to find and keep the good people and when they leave with years of experience, training and contacts..sometimes straight to the competition..then whom you should look at ?
There is surprise finding that..People leave managers not the companies....One should look at immediate manager and he is the one responsible for the same.
Beyond a point, an employees primary need has much less to do with the money or perks, and more to do with how he is treated...how valued he feels and most of these things depends directly on his immediate manager.
A company is good when employees are good. No matter how best your product or service is....Only good people can make this survive in market.
A Word of Advice for HR Person-- Just imagine how hard you tried to recruit a good person..and he is leaving just because of a single person in your company.
