How to grow Leadership skills

Leadership doesn't comes with power or position. It's about how good and cooperative you are with your team. A good leader need not only be a performer but also needs to be a good team player.A leader needs to be the one who keeps all his ego aside and is ready to lead the team. He is the one who can guide it's team for a better tomorrow. A leader needs to inculcate the habit of calmness and positivity. A leader needs to learn how to give the due credit to it's team.A leader should be the one who has the courage to stand for it's team and take the responsibility if anything goes wrong with the team. Hence this is how one can become a great leader.

keeping pets at office, shopping vouchers etc to keep them stress free.

Rightly said that leadership skills can be developed, but with hard training indeed. A leader is to do right things by taking right decisions, whether bitter or sweet at appropriate time. If you see...one right decision of a leader has changed the world...whether good or bad...

Taking risks is also a very necessary trait for a leader. It is one which is inherited or gained through environment you live in. High risks, high return...but there is just one little difference in born and made leader is....a made leader needs to hone the acquired traits from time to time because it is not what he is gifted with...

It is usually said that some peoples are born leaders, but according to me anyone can develop leadership skills even if they are not born leaders. Some people are born with better abilities in certain areas that lend themselves to being a great leader. Everyone has unique skills from which they can become great leaders. Some of the traits of good leaders are like- Confidence, brave, ability to take hard decisions and ability to say No.

A successful leader is always open for improvement. They know that there is always a scope for improvement. They know that they can constantly do improvements in their practices, work process, accepting changes, technologies etc.
They listen to their team members & customers.
Good leaders believe in themselves. And if you don't believe in yourself, the people wont't believe in you and they also won't follow you.

Leadership is something that can be learn best with the experience and good practice. Forget about “being born a great leader” because it takes time, experience and putting one’s self to the test to truly forge a great leader – it’s not as simple as either being born with it or not.
