Employees are a company's greatest assets, it is vital for a company to create a workforce whose goals and interests are in alignment with that of the company's goals. If the employees' goals are not aligned with that of the company, then the productivity will be low. When employee engagement is high and employees identify with the organization's goals and as a result their collective efforts are more productive. Organizational alignment is necessary for any growing organization, thus a company must provide incentives and rewards, that encourage behavior and actions that ultimately benefit the organization.

An organization is made up of organic entities...its employees. Something good for an organization is in the larger interest of most of the employees. In today's competitive environment an organization will expect its employees to stretch more, be more agile, collaborate with others and create something new and disruptive! Now if few employees are not attuned to this new ways of working then they are coming in the way of the good of larger cross section of employees.

Hi,

Good for organisation is also good for employees is accepted till some extend but there are few more cases (mentioned below) where it's not necessary.

1. Merger - Where one company is merging with another fast pace company, where employees may face issue to adjust in the work environment.
2. Acquisition - Where one company is acquired by one of the giant company in the industry, where employees will have fear of loosing a job.

Well, I would differ with the statement " Good for organization is also good for employees " .
There has been instances where, even if the organization is doing great, it's employees are much less than being happy.
For instance, Suppose there's this company Foodzie(say) that is a restaurant chain. Let's say they have their outlets in 8 cities in India. Now suppose,the managers of the outlets across all the cities enjoy equal perks and incentives, in proportion to the overall profit of Foodzie. But if statistcs is looked at, one may find a huge disparity between the sales figures at city A and the sales figures at City B. Yet their managers are equally compensated.
Now, this instance more than proves good for organization is not necessarily good for employees.

Yes absolutely its right whatever good for organization is also good for employees. If the company provides good environment for the employees they show more interest to work for organization and even to develop that organization. If the company satisfies the employees then the employee may stick for that company for a long period of time.

Well it all depends on situations and consequences but most likely what is good for organization will be good for the employees like if any organization get profit employees may get share of it if the company wishes to distribute .
what is bad also ranges to employees like if any company closes or facing losses then they may layoff employees.

but there are also some situations like if any company takeover by other company then these conditions may return false as the seller company may get huge profits but employees may suffer pay difference or bad boss .

yes it really correct, good organization is also good for employees. Most of the companies will feel that employee are their most effective assets. If the employees feel good about company and company environment, they work more and more even they try to develop the company also. If company provides good environment and good policies for employees, then employees will also work more effectively.Company should provide the need which is required for employees like self esteem needs and self actualization needs, love and belonging needs, safety needs and physiological needs. If company satisfies those needs properly then employees also work efficiently. Most of the good companies will provide those things.Always good organization is good for employees.

Yes, I believe that what is good for organisation is good for employees also, provided the company wants the well being of its employees. It is good that the organisation is growing and is cracking good deals and projects and earning good amount of profits. But, what is all this profits is because of the employees hard work and their extra ordinary talent and skills. And the organization does not appreciate its employees at all. This should not be done, because if the employees decide to leave the organisation, then the firm will be no where. Its employees who help the organisation to grow and develop and we should always respect them and give them what they deserve. So, if the organisation if earning profits, then they should share the profits with the employees who have helped them in cracking the deal and earnings such huge amount of profits. Such transparency, should always be there in every organisation. So when we appreciate the employees with what they deserve, they feel happy and also motivated to work hard, because they know, if they work hard and their hard work will reap profits then in return they will also get good amount of incentives. They get the job satisfaction. So, its a circle, if the organisation does good, the employees will also do good.

Yes, absolutely, good for organization is also good for the employees.

As organization grows, employees working their also grows with the company. If every employee understand this point then it will be very good for
both the employee and organization.

Because if company or organization enjoys the profits then employees also enjoys the profits. If company's good will or publicity will be good then the customer lso respects the employees.

the growth of the organization and employee is completely depend on both the organization and employees. They have to work for each other collectively with honesty and loyalty.
Both the organization and employees should trust each other then only they both can grow and can enjoy the profits collectively.

Yes deifinitely, Good for organisation is good for the employees. When both the employer and employee work together towards the achievement of the goals and objective of the organisation , whatever the result may be , its been together for them. All the people in the organisation share it. If there are losses then its shared in the same way as the profit is been shared.

For this its very important that there should be trust in the organisation and honesty and a zeal to work towards the goals effectively and efficiently. A good authority and responsibility team is required so that every task is performed well within the time frame and is well executed .
