I feel sorry for the New Zealand as they could not pass the last hurdle of the cricket world cup 2015. It was Australia who lifted the cup for fifth time and they have reinforced this notion that it is very difficult to beat them on their soil. Australia has the experience of big matches and tournaments which always pays them. New Zealand had the wonderful opportunity but all went in vain when they were defeated by strong opponent. It would have been their maiden world cup had they defeated the Australia.

Michael Clarke who took retirement from the ODI cricket made his country world champion for fifth time. So overall this world cup was quite good as we saw so many events throughout the tournament.
