A Congress Rajya Sabha member made a sensational comment by saying that seats in the Upper House of Parliament were up for sale and if anyone had Rs 100 crore to spare they could buy it.The person who made the statement is Rajya Sabha MP Birendra Singh, some of the news channel quoted him saying the statement that seats are there for sale if one has the requisite money to buy it.However, later on what usually happens..the minister stated that his statement was misinterpreted.

It's really an issue to think on, because if the statement which the minister has quoted, then money power in politics could really be a worrying issue. The situation is deteriorating in politics, so what the ruling party is doing to stop all this money game, when a minister comes in the power after spending a huge sum of money, then how could we even think of..that he will even think about the common man.It seems that now being a politician has become an issue of prestige..and not like the past when a person would think to be a politician, when he/she feel like doing something for the society or for the country.

Now, if a person is famous among the people or has the money to invest, can easily be a politician or as the minister said a Rajya Sabha member..Whats your opinion on this..
