Re: Rahul Gandhi calls Narendra Modi Hitler
Comparing Modi with Hitler is not warranted and is utterly wrong. I have read Hitler and there are no comparisons. For an average reader I will do some parallels and show you what I mean. 1) Hitler felt Germany was not fared well at the bottom of the first WW. Modi feels India is not fared well by the Congress party which puts Hindu people down in everything when compared to the other communities elected officials of India care for too much. 2) Hitler rose to his title because there were no other leader in Germany when the old Chancellor was leaving as retiring. Modi raises to power because there is no other leader in India today who could put the country together. 3) Hitler took other countries as hostage as soon as he rose to the power. Modi can attack Pakistan if came to power and if India is challenged in any mischief of Pakistan. 4) Hitler made his own connections with other countries like Italy and Japan to come to his side in disputes with Britain France and Russia. Modi has no such need nor will do such thing. On 1, 2, and 3 - Modi is still a national leader with passion for India and for Indians and for all of its people (not just Hindus) that we do not see anywhere in the other leaders, separately or even all combined. That is why Modi appears to be winning in the elections. Problem Rahul is seeing is because people all over India have begun to love him like the love Nehru claimed when he was alive.
Rahul Gandhi calls Narendra Modi Hitler
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi compared opposition leader & BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to German dictator Adolf Hitler at a public rally in Gujarat on Tuesday.Till now this is the sharpest attack on his rival who is forecast to beat him in an upcoming general election.
He said the same while addressing a rally at at Balasinor in Kheda district, Gandhi said in an indirect reference to Modi: “Hitler was the biggest arrogant who thought people had no wisdom and there was no need to listen to them. He thought he had all the knowledge himself. Similarly, there is a leader today in India who says ‘I have done this, I have done that’ and behaves arrogantly. A leader should not be arrogant.”
Mr.Gandhi also dig out some statements from a past speech of Mr.Modi in which he projected himself as "chowkidar" before the masses for guarding the country's exchequer. He accused Modi of "stealing" the land of poor farmers for giving it away to rich industrialists.
When Gandhi might have turned up in Balasinor a district in Gujarat at that time most of the Modi's fans must be thinking about the Pappu jokes about him.But when he started his speech then there was nothing in it which could never enter in to the Pappu segment.Blame it on a great speech or a good homework or the results of various opinion polls which made this speech prominent.
