Well...sole responsible is Maruti company. Recently A Go Crash test was done on Maruti Swift and it scored Zero rating. Why a person should pay INR 6 L for a death machine. Maruti should come out and show themselves as a leader. Lots of faults are reported for newly launched Maruti cars and they were rolled back by the company. Other minnows like Hyundai, Cheverolet are producing better cars and at competitive price....

I would personally favour to buy from Maruti being an Indian brand but they need to improve

Maruti October Sales Dip 1.1%

Country's largest car-maker Maruti Suzuki IndiaBSE 2.97 % (MSI) today reported a 1.1 per cent decline in total sales in October at 1,03,973 units as against 1,05,087 units in the same month last year.

The company said its domestic sales rose by 1% during the month to 97,069 units as against 96,062 units in October, 2013.Sales of utility vehicles, including Gypsy, Grand Vitara and Ertiga, declined by 16.7 per cent at 6,027 units in October this year from 7,236 units in the corresponding month last year.
