Twitter is a powerful marketing tool -- if you know how to use it. Knowing how to write your tweets and when to publish them can increase visibility and drive traffic to your site. Focus on content, it will help you to attract new followers and keep them engaged over time.
Keep it short - Tweets should be short and concise ,it will make more impact in audience.
Tweet Without Links - Tweets without links get more engagement. If you limit the number of links, you’ll add value to the ones you do.
Ask questions and run polls - Running polls n asking questions is an effective way to to interact with your audience, and understand people’s opinions.
Use the Right Hashtags - If you want to get noticed so use proper hashtags in your tweets.
Add Images to the tweets - Tweets with images stand out and get more engagement than tweets without images.

Twitter – It is a name which most of us would have just heard about without having any idea what it actually is and how it can be used.
Twitter is basically a platform to read & exchange any kind of information limited to 140 characters.
How to create an account on Twitter - Go to www.twitter.com to sign up. Enter the appropriate information (full name, email and password) on the right-hand side before clicking “Sign up for Twitter.” The website will then ask you to verify the information, choose a username and agree to the Twitter Terms of Service before proceeding.
Tweet – It is a 140 character statement through which you can share your opinion about an issue, or can say something to others on twitter.
How it can be done – Just click on a blue icon on the top right corner of your twitter account.After clicking a dialogue box will open up saying “Compose New Tweet” here you can tweet whatever you want to.
Twitter Definitions :
Hashtags – The (#) hastag symbol is a great way to mark a special topic or some specific keywords in a tweet.For ex..if you are doing a tweet like – Sales Forum for Online B2B & B2C Sales, here you can mark hashtags against #Sales, #B2B, B2C to be noticed among these keywords while people will discuss on these topics.
Followers – are the ones who follow you or you can say your twitter account. Like today Narendra Modi is being followed by lakhs of people
Following - are the ones whom you follow through your Twitter account, they can be anyone , great personalities, the people you know or the ones about whom you want to know.This you can search by searching them in the section “Who to Follow”.
Mention & Replies – If you want someone to be mentioned in your tweet, then you have to use @ symbol in front of the person, business, organization or whatever you want to mention or reply to For example..@fundoodata means that you have mentioned Fundoodata's name for a reason.In the same manner if someone has done a tweet relating to an issue in which you are also interested & want to share your opinion on that particular tweet then just click the reply button under that tweet and after that you can simply post a reply.
Retweets - A retweet is a way to share another Twitter user’s tweet with all of your followers. It will essentially look the same as normal tweets with the author’s name and username next to it, but it will also contain the retweet icon and the name of the user who reposted it. Click the “Retweet” option under a tweet in order to share.
Favourites – Marking a tweet as favourite is almost similar to liking an update on Facebook.It is just a way to let the poster know you have really liked the tweet for whatever reason.
Direct Messages – You can send Direct Messages to people who follow you by clicking the gear icon in the top right and selecting “Direct Messages.Choose the “New message” icon, type the name or username of the follower you wish to send the message to, enter the message and hit “Send message.” The direct message will be visible only to the person to whom you send it not to others which happens in case of tweets.
