While selling, there are many cases of information asymmetry where either one of the parties, i.e. either the buyer side or the seller side have more information about the product than the others. In that case only one of them having more information is going to be benefited by the deal. Hence it is a Zero-sum game, not a win-win game. Hence in cases where both the sides have an equal amount of information Selling can be a win-win game, here both sides of the parties (i.e seller and buyer) are satisfied and are benefited by the deal. For building a long term relationships, it is always better to create a win-win situation.

Selling is an art to sell your products. It is referred to as a win-win situation, only when you sell it with the right intention and right strategy.Selling involves three different functions which forms a part of the selling life cycle.First is the manufacture of the product, second is the promotion or marketing of the product and third is the selling of the product. If all these functions are in the right place, then it can be a win-win situation for a company. But,if any of these stages is not performed effectively then it is never a win-win game.

Selling is a win-win game in different prospects.Firstly, when a product of a certain company is bought in excess by the customer in large numbers,it is a win-win game for the company. This is because of the brand position of the product that a large number of people are buying the product. This also shows the brand loyalty of your product that customers repetitively visit your shop for that product.Secondly, when your are selling your product and sales are rising up instantly. This is definitely the win-win situation. There are certain factors that work upon the sales rising like good innovative product, best customer service, reliability etc.Thirdly, during the after sales process when customers contact the company in large numbers inquiring about the maintenance of their product. That shows how reliable and flexible your company is,which responds to the customer requirements.

So selling is a win-win game for some companies, while it is not a win-win game for its competitors. What we have to infer in this whole process is that how we can attract the customer base towards our company. How well we can make our sales rise due to the customers responding to our products. This is what every company is working on nowdays, how to increase its sales. The mantra is simple, just make the product as per your customer requirements due to which the sales will shoot up and become a win-win game for the company.

When the parties reach a solution that is acceptable to both the parties involved in a transaction or the other way round when the seller sells his product to the buyer without deceiving him (the buyer).
