A customer always wants to give less and get maximum. Therefore when a customer approaches us we need to listen to his full query first and then help him resolve it in the best possible manner. This helps establish a rapport with your customer and he feels satisfied. Also while making a sale, one should never make any false promises or mislead the customer or else once he loses the faith, he will never come back and will be unhappy.

Well said Princi...But there is one more thing which according to me is the Key to keep your customers happy which is to be honest with them always....From the beginning when you explain about your product, your services you need to be very transparent about your offering because later on the reason of the unhappiness arises because of the partial truth so if you will explain everything explicitly to them them then they will be always happy and will never complain you and the most important thing always ready to give after sales support to them whenever it is required...

Patience is key quality which a seller should have while facing angry/annoyed customer..Most of the time you realize the concern is because lack of proper communication and issue is not major, but due to unwanted delay customer gets angry.
As selling is part of our job similarly customer post sales service is equally important..To handle Angry customer I would suggest:
> Have a helping attitude (most important)
> Listen to him carefully
> Try to solve his problem at your level, if it is beyond your control assure him to take this forward and do it yourself because you know system best.
> Do make a follow up call to assure problem is resolved and assure him best service always.

Sometimes, we face angry and unhappy customers, who face problem because of our customer service or have a complaint against our product. Facing them is one of the big deal for many of us as they are very angry and it is quite difficult to make them feel relax.Whether you are selling online, or at a shop, you should understand that how to give great customer service to make them happy..There are many ways to make our customer happy.
Listen them properly means effective communication is required.
Take responsibility means take ownership of the situation, don't make excuses.
Be kind and be consistent.
Solve their problem.
