Followup is the essence of Sales Process but it should be done only till it does not irritate the customer.

First understand the customer requirement then build a relationship . Only after that should you tell about your Company Product.

Today lot of sales is done telephonically. Train yourself in reading the customer telephonically as was earlier done by face-reading.

In corporate Sales, the more you are clearer about your customer's requirement , the faster you can make sale.

In Corporate Sales, instead of using 'You' or 'Your' say 'Your Company" during all interactions.

Be honest with your prospective client from start till sales happen. Do not take shortcuts.

1- Focus on your product or service, add means to your product like promotions.

My advice to sales freshers would be very simple and basic :

Try to talk to your manager as much as possible.He should be treated as your school to learn the process,product,servies etc.

Request your manager to accompany for joint calls and learn how he presents the offerings to clients.Try to get the trick of sales..Based on my experience I can say that your first manager in life is very imp as invaraibly he surely would have a some amount of impression on your sales approach through out your life..

Most importantly..Grasp,understand your product /services well..Have a clear understanding on USPs,weakness of the product/service.Also learning about the competition hepls you a lot to present your services confidently in front of a client.
