Social Media marketing is totally different from Traditional Marketing. In olden days we see that people used to carry some samples of products with them and they used to go shop to shop and house to house to explain the product, to convince them to buy the product and to improve the sales. But now a days it's totally different. People are using Social media marketing. They simply post the adds of their products where a large number of people can see it by sitting at their homes, offices etc. If they just like the product they are just choosing online shopping. So it's easy for them and they can save their time. And even they are sharing it with their friends and their relatives.

Social media marketing is increasing these days. As technology is upgrading, everybody is using the new developed technology which will help them to survive in the competition. Traditional marketing involved a lot of hard work, where you had to go every doorstep to promote the product. Where marketing was advertisements i newspapers and hoardings only. However, with social media marketing everything is just sorted out. You just need to have a computer and internet connection. And that is it, just put your advertisements on websites and people will come to know about your products and services. Moreover, promoting them on social media sites Facebook, LinkedIn, twitter etc help you to increase sales. People spend most of their time on social networking sites only. Specially youngsters, even what are the current affairs these days in our country, they come to know from these social media sites. I think, social media is beneficial, as it is cheap also and helps you drive a lot of sales. So, go on marketing on social media sites and see the change in your sales.

Society- a big branch of any nation, decides what needs to be promoted and what needs to be rejected. So is the social media networks. Having a reach of millions of users, it enables ease of access to any information and also spread of information in a viral way.
Traditional Marketing a tool for those people of early 80's and 90's, who relied heavily on paper prints and posters and tv-advertisements, is now becoming an outdated tool to grow one's market in this highly information based world, and is replaced by the social media sites like facebook which contains advertisements. The ads which are intended towards having a specific audience and to meet business goals are posted, some of which are sponsored stories. Proper scheduling is done in order to achieve what is required to be done. It enables cost-cutting, ease of information access to every section of the society from children to aged people. This facility therefore penetrates to the larger section of the society thereby enabling the awareness of the product or the service amongst the customers and users.

Social media is a boon in this fast developing world. With people connected more to the internet then their families, marketing through social sites is not at all a bad choice rather than sticking to old cumbersome ways of going shop to shop and still not finding perspective customers. When it comes to cost cutting social media is the best choice one can opt for.We can easily interact with our customers and can allow them to share their opinions, there was no such kind of choice with the traditional approach. Before being launched in the market the product starts touching tolls in the market.Traditional marketing provides limited exposure to a brand while social media marketing gives the full attention to the branding of a product to the customers...

Social media marketing is almost taking over the traditional marketing landscape due to its cost effective nature and interactivity. Unlike traditional marketing, social media campaigns can be sculpted and toned to accommodate a specific target market with almost continuous updates as the market’s tastes and interests change and evolve.
Social media is a two-way marketing platform. In traditional media, it’s impossible for customers to voice their opinion and connect with a company in real time, whereby with social media, you are able to have a dialogue with potential customers.
