The foremost goal of any marketing strategy is to generate business, so is of social media. Social media also aims at making sales through various social networking sites and services and getting to know your prospects and establishing relationships. below are some ways by which a company can generate sales through social media-first of all, look at the client base that whether your client is using Facebook, twitter etc. then make conversation or connect with your client there. If you share good content with your social networks, it can spread easily, increasing your visibility with new leads. lastly, stay in contact with your leads and clients and You want to create a solid brand image, build a fan following, and give your niche a real reason to stick with your brand. If you can do these things, you can increase your sales.

One of the most effective way of leveraging social media is by using the e commerce/ product review websites. These kind of websites have a comment/review section which can give us the details of the types of the customers, their specific demands of customization of products. In order to increase sales we need to understand the needs of the customers which can be known here. If we cater the needs of the product and then sale, that would create a brand equity for our product and make or costumers loyal.

Social Media is a platform where in you can brand your image. If you are not doing it properly, it may have an adverse effect on your brand. If you want any people to be your customer, they should have a good first impression. First impression is mainly developed through social networking. Even word of mouth is a kind of social networking.So, Promote your product in social media such a way that it reaches more number of people with positive impression.

As we all know that now a days every one is having a computer, lap tops at their homes. Every one is having their accounts in face book, twitter, Linked in and they use it for an hours to get touch with their friends, relatives etc.. So if they post the ads of their products in these sites, by that people will be aware of their products and easily it can improves sales. And even now a days no one is having time to visit the show room and to select the item & shop for them selves. So they were using online shopping. So by using social media we can definitely improve the sales.

@lascellescharles is correct.. Social Media is very important part in many ways .. as per me social media will give you personal touch with your client.. For this linkedin is very good way. Linked in also better in many other ways.. Let's say you are interacting with any individual in any company and their are few things which you should know about that person in that company like if that company is from that company or not because in B2B sales module you may get a lot fake people as well second thing you may also see if that person is the decision maker for that company or not and if that person is not decision maker, you can search for his senior and can add that person. It will decrease the landing time on a sale. Second thing. These Social Media marketing is very common way of marketing which actually helps in SEO of your company as well... Altogether Social Media is most important factor for a sales guy..

As we all know, the no. of social media users is increasing and in the same manner its popularity..Now, everyone is using it effectively either its an individual or a business entity.And, in terms of a business where sales process is the core working the need of social media arises..An integral part of the sales process is getting to know your prospects and establishing relationships—and for this process social media can do wonders to accomplish this quickly and easily.

It starts out with creating an account where you can display your products, services, benefits, offers and much more.And it can be used much effectively when it comes to tell people about you and your brand.But the toughest part of this is to analyse that which portal can work for you or in other way out from where you can get the maximum customers for your product.

Now, when you have an account on a social media portal which suits your business best..it comes the turn to connect with the people who are eager to know about your brand, products connect with them by answering their queries or by sharing something they say. By contributing to their conversation you add value to their network, then they will definitely think to follow you back.
