According to me quality is important than quantity. If consumer buys a particular product of some organization, if it does not have good quality then from next time he doesn't show any interest on that product. So automatically sales decreases. So he has to concentrate on quality rather than quantity. If the quality is good of product or service there is a chance that he may stick to that particular product only. And also he gets brand name in the market and also sales may increases.

Quality or Quantity. Both are important for sales. customer will check both quantity and quality of product and service. But when service or product are too good then customer never worry about quantity. companies should maintain both in equal proposition, then only company can increase their sales. and these will vary with product to product or service to service, customer will look quantity in some products and he will look quality in some products. like In "FM CG", customer will check both quality and quantity to purchase those items.

Sales is depend upon both quality and quantity. And we have to decide where we can use it in a useful manner.
Many people said that "numbers don't lie", but according to me numbers don't tell the complete story.
Here are few examples:

Twitter followers: On twitter if you have more followers then you can grow your sale or revenue and also expand your business through advertising, referrals etc.,.
As many number of follower you have that much you can reach to your customer. The same is also applies to the Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media sales.

Sales calls: Many people says that "Sales is a number game". But if you call 100 customers and you cannot make a single call, then its a complete waste of your time. You will never reach your target if you are not calling the right people.

In the first example Twitter followers it explained about quantity and in second example it explains about the quality of sales.

This is the most often question asked these days. Quality or quantity?? Today where everything is developing and technology is upgrading everyday. People want everyday new and the most updated technology. Some organisations go on earning money by selling quantity and not quality. But, today consumers want quality and not quantity. When consumers find that the product or services bought of a particular organisation which was not at all worth for the money paid and also of not good quality, they don't go again to buy the products and services of that organisation. And moreover they will also tell other people to not to buy the products and services of that organisation. This will help not help the organisation and will led to shut down ultimately. So, we should focus on quality and not quantity. Then here consumers will spread a positive and good image of the organisation. Nowadays, if people feel that the quality is superior, then people will buy the product no matter how much the price is.
