In this competitive market..Always try and render more and better service to your client than what is expected of you..because If you are not , your competitor will.

In sales there are going to be times when you can’t make everyone happy. Don’t expect to and you won’t be disappointed. Just do your best for each client in each situation as it arises. Then, learn from each situation how to do it better the next time.

In Sales, you sell yourself first to the prospect before selling the product. The prospect is more interested in who he is seeing and listening than in the product he is yet to buy.

In sales it is very important to remain updated with latest news on economy and general topic..it helps in establishing relationship with client..you can not always talk business with client and prime criteria of a good sales man should be to get customer in a comfort zone where he see sales person as consultant. Some times you may differ in opinion what client has but if you appreciate his opinion it takes client to cloud 9...

Therefore sales person should remain abreast with latest happening around him and specially he should have update from client sector and about his competitor.

In sales we might have very strong planing to achieve our target but we tend to loose control when these plans fail...So I believe one should have very strong analysis skills where if Plan A fails he should shift to Plan B and C.

Sales is a job where you have to learn and unlearn every day with your experience your reading of customer improves and you tend to utilize your time with customer who can actually give you more business,
