If any person is saying "NO" to your service or product offering, few things you have to do as follows.
1. Try to know whether he is willing to say "Yes" to others and that is the reason for saying No to you or not !
2. If he is saying "No", figure out what can be done to turn that to "Yes" (If not this time or if not to this person, it may work other times and to others)
3. If answer is "Yes" - you will win this particular sales but if the answer is "No", you will many other sales in future

Any person can only become a true Sales professional if he loves to hear the word NO and then convert it to Yes with his skills

Really most of the people say no, when we explain about a product or service. Then sale people should not demotivate them self. We can’t turn our prospect as our customer in 1st attempt. But try and tackle them with different approach and explain the importance of product and be clear about your product. Important thing whenever you speak with prospect, just speak in their prospect, it means understand their need and explain how your product will help them.
BE confident
Don't lose your hope
Be motivated and motivate your team member and plan according to prospect requirement.
Moreover be patience
Try and try until you get.

Learning to take NO for an answer is as important to take YES as an answer. When a person says NO to us, though it feels bad to us, sometimes it is the reason what makes us good. We should always think for the reason why the person has said no to us. Sometimes we blame the person for saying NO without listening to us or blaming the luck that the person is like that and we cant do anything about that. But we can do something about that. Sometimes we should look to ourselves and should try to think what we are doing wrong.

I agree, for any sales person its important to know how to deal with the word NO . Its very demotivating when the prospects turn off the proposal , but that is the time that one should not loose hope and should get back with the same zeal and try harder for the next prospect. This things are depressing , but one should know how to get back there energy and should use certain tricks to get the prospects to say yes instead of NO. We should never feel low from any negativity in life, infact it should be fighted out and shouldbe succeded.

Well, nobody likes to hear No. And in sales one hears it most often. Customers say No for discussion, No for an appointment or No for buying. Its a normal process where one finds hundreds of NOs to get one Yes.

One should understand that no body wants to be have force selling on him. Hence customers would take time to analyze & understand your service before saying a Yes. Infact have seen that many customers who say No, become one the most easiest prospects if instead of sales person trying to make force selling sales person tries to create a relationship with them & allowing them the time to analyze the offering. Hence rather focusing of No's, sales person should try to have a dialogue to understand the actual needs of the customer to make it a future Yes.

Yes, off course we have a whole lot of thing to train our self when we hear "NO" in sales. And the first thing where the max. training required is "prepare yourself and be always ready to hear NO" .

The clients say "No" and they means not interested and as we know in sales we need to interact with as many people as possible and every one keep on saying No, NO, NO.. :o .Obviously a common man will die hearing the same strongest negative word again and again...He'll start doubting his talent, his capabilities etc. and he'll be finished..A common man will die but not a true "Sales Man", that' the reason it is said "Sales is not everyone's cup of Tea"

But what should be done to avoid such a situation..? :?: :? . The best way is to keep self motivated and self motivation starts when we start taking this negative NO as a positive word.. :? . Actually if you want to win, then whenever you hear NO. don't take it as a rejection rather consider internally that those people you met are now aware of your offerings, they do not have the requirement now but will require the same sometime down the line.. so when they are saying "NO" they mean not now dear maybe the "NEXT ORDER" ;) :P .

So friends next time once you go for cold calls, cold visits, be well prepared you'll hear a big NO. which says Next order buddy. Be self motivated , Be brave and face this world full of NO with a positive attitude. ;)

No one likes rejection or to hear “NO” when asking for the sale. every sales person should understand "NO" is a part of a sales and instead of getting demotivated they always train & keep them self motivated when they hear "NO" .

First of all, Rejection will not hurt you because the customer is not rejecting you. They are rejecting the idea of investing their money for a product / service they have yet to understand is worth more to them than their money. And that is good, because all you have to do is sell them the benefits of your product / service so that they will realise the worth and buy your product.

To be successful in sales you must consistently avoid the word “NO”. A simple and effective way to avoid having the prospect or customer say “NO” is this never ask a question that your customer or prospect can answer with a “NO”.

Do you have any requirement right now?
May I know about your organisation so that I can explain how are services can be beneficial for you?

Ask any sales professional and he will curse and say that everyone is saying NO whenever he talk to many of his prospects. Yes, we can find many things to say that our product will suit you sir, if you once buy the product from us. If someone say you anything that No we are not going ahead with the product. So you can suggest him another option that if this is not good for you we are suggesting you something other product that can be beneficial for you .If someone says that you product costing is high so we can say him that if, pricing is high we can work on it and can give better pricing .And if some one say anything No we should not say OK we should tell him that sir we can have alternative option of this but No word is not in our dictinory ......

In sales,, If it takes 20 interactions to get 3 YESes, one should do 80 to get 12 daily.. because those 12 positive responses will give you the strength to hear another 68 Nos tomorrow.

Get your pipeline filled with lots of prospects daily.. and search for those valuable positives from that pond of NOs... don't get disheartened, if they don't need it now they will come back to you later.. keep your CRM as strong as possible.

It is as simple as that, during cold calls also you can get positive response in very less ratio as compared to the NOs, Thus. work for that "YES"
