Sales personnel go through plenty of problems during the course of their work. One of the biggest problem is understanding the customers. A customer has various requirements and the sales person should be able to comprehend the needs to its client and deliver the product that makes him happy.

Dealing with an unhappy customer is something that a sales personnel has to go through every moment. A customer always wants something more and something better, Therefore it becomes important to understand the requirements and perform above the expectations of the customer. This way we get a happy and loyal client for life.

Another problem is dealing with targets and deadlines. For this time management plays an important role. A sales person should know their strengths and weakness, know what they have to do and divide time accordingly. They have huge targets and deadlines to meet which is impossible if time is not managed properly.

Lastly, a problem that most probably affects all is staying motivated. Business has a lot of ups and down and it becomes very important to stay motivated and deliver more. Self motivation is what people lose with time. Therefore, it is important to keep yourself motivated to excel in your task.

The biggest challenge for sales professionals is to stay motivated and focused even in bad times when they are not able to achieve targets and even then also when they over achieve their targets.

One of Biggest challenge for any sales professional could be how to stay motivated for selling same product or service over a long period of time.

Biggest Challenges for sales professionals in chronological order as follows :
1. You have to make people understand who you are & why you are here ! :P
2. You have to make them understand about your product.
3, After all this he/she should trust you.

New salespeople face a range of challenges in their career. Selling is like no other profession in that it requires outstanding people skills as well as the mastery of a great number of specific sales competencies and attitudes that are not generally found in other careers. According to me the biggest challenge for sales professionals is:

1. COntrolling their attitude

2. Ability to manage your time and resources.

3. Ability to handle failure, rejection.

The biggest challenge in sales professionals sometimes people may believe they have it and then when the solution be it a product or service does not yield the desired results, buyer’s remorse sets it . Another problems are converting leads into sales, Getting a marketing solution , Managing the online system, Priotarizing time. This all has to be well taken care of by the sales professionals as this will determine the closing deal with different customers and clients. And if its not accompalished it will bring losses for the organisation.

For me the biggest challenge for sales is to generate leads. Unless we get the leads we cannot do sales
