ABC ( Always Be Closing ) is one of the most vital strategy in sales. It means that the deal with potential customer will be considered only when it is closed with him. If it not closed , the sales guy may loose a lot of time and resources after the customer. Hence there is no point in dealing with a customer whim we do not close the deal. It is generally said to avoid the customer who tend not to close deals. Its better to convince the older customers and convince them to close new deals than to go to newer ones.

Always be closing (ABC), as a strategy, requires the salesperson to be persistent, but also know when to cut losses and move on to another prospect. The "always be closing" mentality, a strategy which ultimately pushes the characters to be unscrupulous and dishonest in order to avoid being fired.

Well its necessary for companies to always be closing in Sales.Well you can't force anyone to buy your product, you definitely should move on.Companies now days are sending in their sales persons to promote, market and ultimately sell their products to the prospective customers. The sales personnel find the prospective customer through various searches, reach out to him and finally pleases him to buy the product. If the customer buys the product, then its good and you will earn profit on the deal. But if the customer turn down your offer, then you have to face loss.So companies now days have to minimize this concept of rejection from the customers. They have to find a way of how they can reduce the loss which they face when a prospective customer don't buy your product.Well that can happen not all sales days are good, some can be bad too.

So what is the way to face this issue. One simple way is to turn towards the next prospective customer in line.Customers have a lot of expectations from the salespersons and they just want to get in touch with them.So companies agenda should be straight as an arrow ie. not to waste time on the same customer who is not buying your product, but to move to the next customer. Companies should aim at finding the right prospective customer who will be a loyal customer too.So that the time that is wasted in pleasing the customer who put your offer down can be eliminated. That is the right strategy for any company is today's modern era, when competition is so intense. So,as it is rightly said that companies should always be closing in sales.

The phrase "Always Be Closing" was made famous by Alec Baldwin's character in the movie "Glengarry Glen Ross." ABC refers to an aggressive sales strategy wherein your only concerned about selling your product, modern marketing concept is concerned with positioning and finding the right consumer for the product, but even today if your in sales much of the emphasis is on converting the calls/leads into sales.

In short this strategy tells you to keep the goal of selling the product in mind and doing what is necessary to sell the product.
