Marketing is simple. However, effective marketing is not. your grey cells has to go through a lot of wear and tear to come up with a brilliant and an effective marketing strategy. Now, the question being how to make marketing more effective and simple, here are a few suggestions:
(i) Let us go back to our basics: we start by identifying our GOAL: the goal should be very clear ahead of us. What do we want? What is that we are aiming for? What is the time span we want to achieve our goal in?
(ii) Identifying the need: Whatever we are offering, is it needed enough? Do we have a rich customer base?
(iii) Segmenting: Identifying the customer base, who do you intend to serve?
(iv) Targeting: Who are the people who will end up buying your product?
(v) Positioning: Tell the world you are slightly different from what the rest of the world has to offer.
These five steps correctly followed will surely go a long way in making marketing simpler and more effective

Marketing is about communicating and delivering value to consumers and society as a whole. The process of marketing is difficult and not effective only when the product, or the service the company is offering the consumers is farther from their need. When a consumer has to make a decision regarding something which does not satiate his need and add value for him, it takes great convincing on part of the company.

To make marketing effective the company needs to focus on identifying the needs, and instead of convincing, it should focus on finding the right consumers. Marketing should play the role of an intermediary between the consumers and the products. To make marketing even more effective, the companies can go beyond what is needed, to augment the product with more utility. For example if a consumers want to purchase a car to travel from point A to point B, then transportation is their need, however they will also appreciate features such as build quality, looks , mileage and performance.

To know from where your business is heading is the biggest part of figuring out how to make it a successful one. While each and every company has its own business plan to define its mission and vision, but it is usually a good idea to include a separate section for defining marketing.
A marketing process details about who are the target audience, where they can get the information and how to deliver an effective communication media to market you message to them. It has been a endeavour of each organisation to get maximum from the crunch of resorces to get maximum output. Marketing has been allocated maximum resources to get the foothold in the market . The marketing efforts must be sipler and effectively used to convey the message to the target customers.
It can be made more effective and simpler by the following methods
(1) Speak the language of the customer- As the customer is the king and he must feel comfortable in your language communication. This can always be of it is done in the language which the customer is comfortable to effectively close the deal.
(2) Solve the problem- Look the product from the customer point of view. Does it help him to make his life easy. If the answer is yes then you are in the business.
(3) Make customer the hero of your story- make the customer share his good experience. This connects well and is widely accepted.
(4) Anticipate changing environment- The need of the customer is to be kept while planning a marketing activity. He must feel the need to change for the betterment.

In today's world which is highly volatile and dynamic, i don't think that there is a possibility of having both effective and simpler strategies. You can have either effective but complex/mixed strategy or else you can have normal and simple strategy. Its up to you to take a call between them. But before jumping into conclusions, have an analysis on things like type of the product, level of competitiveness, demographics of the place, financial strength and then take a call accordingly. And most importantly have a very clear idea on segmentation, targeting and positioning of the product. For example, if your product is targeted for youth, then you should not miss out the digital marketing especially social media marketing where present youth is very active. And for such product you should make a right digital marketing strategy like making some videos which you can share it on social media and make it viral. Dont try to fallow the same strategy for all kinds of products, have different strategies for different products, it would be complex but it will be an effective one. Like that first analyse the product,and then by segmentation, targeting and positioning the product in a right way, at a right place and at a right time would make your marketing simple and effective. And also consider the level of competition,i mean, have a intense marketing where your competitors are very aggressive and strong. Having an intense marketing at a place where there is no great competition serves no great purpose.

A good marketing research is the key to effective marketing. Filtering from the huge population to explore the target population is very essential for the marketing to be effective. if this is not done, then we may end up spending a huge amount to cater the needs of the people who are not the potential customers of our product.
To make marketing more simpler marketeers must resort to online social media marketing. Since online media today covers people of all age group ,so social media can reach to a large number of people. Besides this, the marketing techniques should be easy to understand which would eventually make it simpler for the marketeer .As Confucius rightly said,"Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated" :) . Hence I believe a simpler marketing technique will reduce the complexity of deciphering the hidden intent and hence will be great success.

Products or services can be complex. So Marketing job is to make the thing easily understandable and convey our business’s value in accessible terms. Marketing should target specific customers like children, youngster or aged people. Also marketing should use specific media channel to reach the target customer level. Marketing should speak your customer’s language. So that it will best fit to your customer needs. Marketing should address customer’s problems and how does their product or service improve their lives.

Marketing is one of the most important wing of any organisation.It serves the purpose of showcasing your product to the outside world.So if the branding of your product is the best,then nobody can beat you in this highly competitive market.Well keeping in mind all the dimensions of marketing a product,there are various ways to make marketing more effective and simpler.The first step is to market your product with the right mindset, keeping in mind the target audience.Target audience can be youngsters who are a big fan of a certain product like rock band t shirts or adults who have a liking for a certain brand of shirts in the market.So I have particularly mentioned the garment industry in my context targeting both the younger generation and the adults.

The second step is to keep the prices as low as possible,as customers will only buy from you if you offer a cheaper price.Otherwise they will buy from your competitor,which will create a competition in the market.Thirdly investment should be done efficiently on marketing.Most companies are not spending wisely on promotion of their product.Some cost cutting measures should be encouraged in the promotional events.If organisations spend money on some very important activities,they can generate a very important profit for the company.Lastly,specific groups should be made for marketing activities like for promotion,events etc.This marketing strategy leads to individual groups performing the activity which they are good at,giving the highest efficiency to the organisation in terms of skills and talent.So,marketing is the need of the hour and if performed with the right skills can lead to a huge income generation for the organisations.
