What should be the first actions with a potential customer?

Potential customers are the ones who are easy to target and can be easily converted into a final customers. It is important to deal with them with an utmost care and the main aim should be how to convert them into final customer. There are following steps that needs to be taken care of :
1. Welcome them with a bright smile.
2.Ask them for water / coffee
3. Ask them for what they are looking for and try meeting their expectations.
4. Explain the customers about the products properly
5. Deal with all the technical specifications properly and calmly
6. Explain the price of the products & try convincing them why is the product worth of the price.
7.Close the deal with a smile.
8.Have a proper followup

Potential customers are the ones who are the easiest and the most precious assets to the business
The first actions with them should be like :
(I) Always greet your customers with a smile. make them feel at home.
(2) Ask them what is it that they are looking for? Try to adhere to their choices. Do not try to push products to them.
(3) Arrange for special discount coupons for your most loyal customers.
(4) put on your best behaviour all the while.
(5) Ask for suggestions

First action with a potential customer is to analyze what customer wants or his need.If we have that product which can suits his requirement then we need to show the value for that product...If he will be satisfied then from a potential customer he will turns to our esteemed client.

A potential customer is the one who buys your product and should be kept in contact by the company.He can't be lost by the company and is insisted to become a loyal customer.Some potential customers become loyal customers,while some don't.So if you have to win the trust of your customers and make him a potential customer,the company needs to fight for him.As potential customers are not easy to find,the companies need to develop a bonding as soon as they find their potential customer.

As soon as the companies find their potential customers they should firstly take his contact information,through which the companies can be in continuous touch with their customers by sending them special offers and discounts.Secondly the company personnel should call the potential customer once in a month,so as to know about there requirements and need.The customers also feel happy if the companies ask about them.The companies should aim at providing their potential customers the best of the facilities.Thirdly they can provide facilities for their customers who visits their store like providing transport,snacks and water to their potential customers.By providing these facilities they can retain their potential customers as well as attract other customers too.

The company personnel who is attending the potential customers must be very polite,kind and should have a sense of responsibilities towards his potential customer.In this way he can be more closer to the customer and get his feedback.These are a set of the first actions that should be taken with a potential customer so as to gain his trust and build in a sense of confidence in him.

Tell him what you can do for him. Tell him something, briefly about your experience, position in the business, qualifications, and how you can help him. Introduce yourself as an expert, an advisor, and someone that can help him to make informed choices. Once you have introduced yourself you can then ask him an open question to start the conversation and gain the information you need to close the sale.

First action of any sales person after learning that the particular customer is the potential customer is to greet him and introduce himself/herself with politely and try to know about the customer so that customer feels comfortable with sales person to speak. Use to address the customer with his/her name only so that he/she feels good to know that how important they are for you.

After the introduction just first try to know what they want and at what range according to their requirements show the products and services and explain
them how it helps them in their usual life and try to match with the customer requirements.

And if possible show add on facilities to the customer within his/her range. And if possible discounts, offers etc.,.

Remember customer don't buy the product they buy the product depending upon the salesperson explanation.

First action with customer:- we should know what customer wants and we should present that product in a different way to him, like our explanation(Regarding product or service) should impress him, because whenever a customer want to purchase some product , he will do some research on those product before going to visit store . Speak with him properly with smile and explain to him technically. so we never loose that customer.

Whenever it comes to first actions with a potential customer, remember to give it your best shot no matter what. If the customer goes dissappointed, he may not come back tomorrow. First action wioth a poetntial customer is to give a big smile and greet them nicely. They feel good when you trat them nicely. We should try to satisfy their needs by providing value added products and services. The potential customer could have gonme to some other shop also, but he came to us, so we should provide them with value added products, different from other stores out there. Their satisfaction should be the ultimate motto of the organisation. Provide them with a variety of products and services, so that they can choose the best among them. They feel excited and happy when they huge variety of products and services. And when your potential customer gets satisfied, he will go and tell other people about your shop and how they are satisfied. And thus, your customer base will grow.

In order convert interested candidates to customers we should analyse the very first actions of the cutomer such that our deal can be finalized sooner with less effort. If a person seem to be liking the product he/she may inclined towards cost and quality details , and they will pose many questions / inquiries regarding the product.
