On this Independence Day lets work on...

    To make Green India
    To make Clean India
    To make Skilled India

Its really an honour for me to write about the Independence day 2014 & what all we can do to make India proud..India, land of diversities and one of the oldest civilization of the world, land where great leaders are born, land which have given birth legends like Bhagat Singh, Milkha Singh and many more. A land where almost every festival that exist is celebrated with enthusiasm and more over biggest democratic Nation of the World but today this greatness is only limited within the books of history or sculptures..

But this is not at all enough to be a proud citizen of India, there are still various evils in the society which are making their roots stronger day by day.Whether you think of corruption, crimes against women the number is increasing year on year because the steps to stop these crimes are not being taken in a very strong way.

On this occasion I want to ask do we really value this freedom or really deserve this. Freedom does not mean to vote and elect our Prime minister it is one more than that. Freedom means we participate in the development of our country protect it from not only outsiders but also from the social evils prevailing in our country, fulfill our duties and last but not the least being a good citizen. Freedom is not a piece of cake, we got this freedom after a long fight and through the sacrifices of great leaders so we must respect this freedom and have to take care of it at any cost.

After Mr.Modi became the Prime Minister of India, aspirations of people have touched the limits of sky.But we are really missing the fact that an individual can't do anything, he can as a leader can show the direction but without the support of all Indians it will be really impossible for him as well to do anything. He has also taken a great move in the development of India through the website mygov.nic.in wherein any of us can give suggestions on various issues & and can also hold discussions on the same. The same can prove to be a milestone in being developed if we will support him by holding each others hand.

Let us support Mr.Modi in his initiative of making every state as Surajya, all of us are educated citizens of the country we should strive to make a cleaner & pollution free environment by planting more and more trees.Adding to this we should also take a step forward to stop corruption in our state lets be so strict on this issue that whosoever will ask for bribe has to think thrice before doing that.

So, this Independence Day lets not just sit at home & grumble about the dirty politics, lets not think that someone should act on something bad which is happening just by your side, lets not just be an audience to anything bad happening in our city, lets not rely on our government and PM of India for everything what we think of to make India a developed country. We should be with the slogan of MY COUNTRY, MY GOVERNMENT, MY CONTRIBUTION.

If every citizen of the country will think like the same as the slogan says then we can definitely be a part of making India corruption free, pollution free, crime free & a country where the respect of women will be the prime duty of every citizen.

Lets join hands with our PM Modi for the development of nation..

Jain Hind..!! Jai Bharat..!!

This year we will be celebrating 68th year of independence and still if we ask this question that is India really shining..? Honest reply would be NO.. not at all. We have:

• Economic crises
• Political instability
• Crime rate is on all time high

Root cause of this difference is we are not having an INCLUSIVE growth..rich is getting more richer and poor is getting more poorer..and probably we are witnessing decline in broad parameters like GDP and Per capita income…Its so shameful that post 67 years still Million of Indian’s sleep hungry and die due to lack of basic facilities.

But everything boil down to what a single hand can do..all these broad parameters are to be taken care by Government and Administration. Which is True..

Just as one question to yourself when was the last time you did something for betterment of your country?

Difficult to list down even 10 points right!!!! India does not want Good Politician (India want leaders)…India does not want Administrators (India want visionaries)…India does not want billion complaining mouth (India need billion helping hands)

Yes….power of one is the strongest force in universe; it’s just that everyone has to believe in that power of one. 200-300 Parliamentrians at center should not be allowed to decide fate of billion. Problem is everyone is so self centered now days that first they think about ME and not WE...WE the people of India can and should make difference.

Let’s pledge this Independence Day for some simple steps from our so called busy schedule….

• Once in week we will work for development of underprivileged…and trust me its easy it just require your time and sincere effort.
• Once in 3 months we will donate and support organizations who are really working for betterment of society.
• We will use our vote effectively and will not vote on the basis of caste and religion and use our brain.
• If anyone needs immediate attention we will not wait for authorities to come and take care. After all he is your National brother or sister.
• We will be little human in whatever we do and try to curb that devil inside us which promote ME before WE.

There could be numerous suggestions but my idea is simple..Just extend helping hand to the person who is next to you and with such a huge population and majority of them requiring your help every helping hand counts. This require your little time, small amount of your hard earned money which anyways you are donating in income tax which is getting wasted by our government.

Proud to be an Indian and yes this my country and its full of *..but I pledge this Independence Day to take responsibility to clean this * because it’s my home if I will not do this who else will.

Jai Hind..!!

Independence Day is a day of reflection when we all think something for our nation.Today India after 67 years if Independence needs a change, a revolution again what we need do is :

(1)"Be proud" to say that we are in Indians
(2)Treat every Indian as our family member.
(3)Wherever, whatever we can do for others, we should step ahead and do it.
(4)Be honest to the core, maintain the good value system of India of respect, love, traditions etc.
(5)Do your work diligently and honesty.
(6)If you have voting rights - ensure you vote
(7)Educate yourself and others. Spread knowledge and wisdom.
(8)Give voice for change in political system so that there is no sign of corruption left.
(9)Fight for justice.
(10)Be above yourself-think out of the box and do something.

BE loyal to your beautiful country INDIA.
JAI HIND !!

The Independence Day India 2014:What we need to do..
15th august 2014, this year India will be celebrating its 68th Independence day. So being an Indian what new resolution are we going to take on this day?
We all keep on cribbing about so much of corruption in our country. From where does this come? What is the source of corruption? All of us face corruption almost daily in one or another manner, but still we are use to it.
So this Independence Day, let’s truly get our freedom back. Let us come together and take a pledge that we will not allow corruption to grow further. But the question arises HOW?
We all say that we don’t take bribe; we are not involved in the scams so we are not corrupted. But we always ignore the fact that the coin is always two sided. If we stop giving the bribe, if start taking initiative against the bribe or any other corruption near us than may be we will be able to throw this corruption out of country. So we need to give a serious thought on a very serious problem of our country which is hampering the growth of our country and also the growth of our young generation.

We are very well versed with the one – liner “I am proud to be an Indian” yet most of us would never hesitate in demeaning our own country publicly for petty reasons. Tagore and many other leaders envisioned a far better India than what we have made it today. We have learned to resign & do nothing and have become fully convinced that India is in a hopeless condition and can’t be helped. It’s high time, we sit back & ponder what we have done, as Indian citizens, to make India proud.

Many of you would be wondering what we can do as a common man for the motherland. One doesn’t need to be in the Indian Army or be a renowned scientist to make India proud. There is a lot, a common man can do. One should be a law abiding citizen and insist others to follow the same. We should not indulge in any activity that is not in favour of society & country at large. We should do, whatever jobs we are in, honestly & should not involve in corruption & other anti-social activities.

A large part of population lives below poverty line and have no access to education. We should unite and open learning centres for them. Many people are taking such initiatives, these schools can be opened in parks under trees and almost zero investment of money is required. The more privileged section of society can contribute to such initiatives as lamenting ‘Govt. is useless’ would yield nothing.

With each passing day the number of crimes against women is increasing haphazardly, Govt. and police forces can’t do anything until we are sensitive enough towards women safety. We are the ones who constitute society & need to change the mindset of this patriarchal society. We should adopt a zero tolerance policy for crimes against women and stand up against the perverts. As parents, we should make our sons sensitive and empower our daughters. As no country with its women being harassed & backward can be respected.

As responsible citizens, we should cast our votes wisely to the deserving candidates. We should pay our taxes on time as it would add to the economic growth of the country. We should treat our guests, from other countries, warmly as it would not only boost the tourism industry but would also help India earn a good image at international level.

As educated citizens, we should strive to make a cleaner & pollution free environment by planting more and more trees. This would add to cutting down the green house gases.

Now coming on Government’s part, various initiatives towards eradication of poverty, spreading awareness for population control and literacy programmes have been taken but what’s needed is to implement them concretely without corruption. Govt. should invest more on sports and sportsperson’s trainings so that they may be able to perform their best at various international platforms and bring India laurels. Medical tourism should be promoted which will lead to increase in foreign investment, boost our economic growth and hence make India proud.

Such baby steps would lead to the formation of a country that Gandhiji and Nehru would have envisioned.

Perhaps, that is what Tagore meant by saying this
“Where the mind is without fear and
the head is held high…into that
heaven of freedom, my father, let
my country awake”

This is the concern issue to talk and work upon.India known by different names like Bharat, Hindusthan.A country with 500 old civilizations having parliamentary form of govt. A country known for his big heart, respect for diff religions, unity, different food, various lifestyles and so on. It is the best country and we can say it proudly without any second thought. Is it true??If yes then we always complain about the government, its rules, politics, poverty, unemployment and cursing and even then supporting those who said themselves as country savior but they are actually destroyer of the country. If India is best then why it is not in no.1 in terms of crime free country, education, employment, development, economy etc because there are certain things which we need to change. We are representing India. India is not representing us. So whatever we do it will reflect on our country name and reputation. When every citizen of a country feeling proud then India will automatically feel proud.

Below are the few things which I believe if we can improve we can make India and Indians proud:-

1. WE - This is from where we can start. If we change ourselves our thinking then only we change others or can say others to b change.

2. Be Honest-Be honest to yourself. If you are honest to yourself then only you can be honest to your country.

3. Respect Females - India has a great culture but this culture is diminishing now. Clothes does not reflect a culture but culture reflects in our respect towards the culture and people. Don’t judge any female by her clothes. Respect all women as equals either she belongs to your family or others family.

4. Help not only to poor people but also to those who met with an accident, tragedy or violence. Please don’t ignore any mishappening towards others in front of your eyes.

5.Follow Right to equality law. Equality in every terms like equality to women, equality in education (don’t give bribe for studies), equality in children and equality in everyone.

6. Give vote to those who deserves not to those who promises and forget. Don’t vote the same person again and again. Use mind not emotion or greed in voting.

7. Proper information:-Always collect proper information about anything. Don’t make your perception either towards any person or any disease.

8. Dont follow or support crime or criminals.

9. Poverty, unemployment, education always on the list of improvement which we decrease day by day if proper actions and plans are implemented.

At last all these things can be possible only if we implement towards change not just think to change. This is not the sole responsibility of the government to change everything, it’s our responsibility to come forward and stop these vicious practices or crime and bring change.

IndiYEAH!!! The land of astounding diversity of cultures, religions, languages, music. The biggest democracy in the world, the land of a very rich heritage, the history associated with it is beyond comparison. However, this is becoming an India of the past. The atrocious demons like poverty, illness, bribery, corruption, indiscipline, disunity are devouring this country. India is rich in all the sectors and that’s why we are proud of our nation. But that’s not enough. We have to maintain this feeling for ever. For this we have some duties to be done towards our nation to keep its head always up. First of all we should always respect our rights and should not take advantage out of in wrong way. We have to keep our nation healthy and developing. To keep environment we should not litter the garbage anywhere except garbage bins. It is often seen people spitting, peeing, in public places in our country, which is very shameful for us. If we come to our politics, we have no clean system, and for that we blame our politician for being corrupted. But that’s not the solution, only we people can make the difference by using our right to vote and choose people who really can make the things from bad to good. We can also contribute into it by not bribing them for our work. We should follows all rules meant for our day to day routine from going home to office in morning to back to home. Eg. Going from and follow traffic rule on road and when we reach office we should do justice to our job and maintain it. We should pay tax on time so that money can be use in nation’s development.

We cannot deny the fact that even after 67 years of independence; India is still a developing country. In order to make India a nation of our dreams, we will have to contribute individually and distinctively. We cannot wait for a miracle to happen. Steps have to be taken from our side as well.

Most Indians have a psyche of a disliking authority, bringing indiscipline, getting rebellious and what not. I fail to understand how damaging public properties they themselves pay taxes for makes their voice stand out when injustice is done. There are other peaceful ways to raise voices as well. Is this how a protest is meant to be done?

How many people are aware of the climate change that’s happening? Are we aware of cricket? Yes, but why are we not aware of the air we breathe? We keep blaming the municipality for not giving continuous supply of water.

How many of us have really given a thought over what’s the underlying problem? The pollution, the deforestation, and the dirtiness everywhere, the industrial filth is all because people like us have stopped caring. The minimum we can do is start giving a thought and implement what's required. Plant trees, contribute less to the pollution, use eco friendly products, and minimize the use of plastic, save the wide range of flora and fauna that we are so proud of.

Right from a traffic hawaldaar till the xyz minister, everyone is corrupted. What do we do when a traffic cop catches us? Give him 100 bucks or so and leave. Have we ever cared about going to the police station, get a registered complaint on our name and follow what has been set as a compensation of breaking that particular law? Do we even know what the procedure is for it?

Although, some progress has been taken towards eradication of poverty. But, we still have millions of people deprived of the basic needs viz. bread, cloth and shelter.

The population is growing day by day. The lack of education amongst the poor, the lack of knowledge is responsible for it. And why is that so? Children are sent to work instead of school even when we say we have a right to education law. Where is the strictness of the law?

Let’s curb communalism in whichever way it’s possible by us. Let’s start from a very small level. Let’s eliminate all forces of separatism and disruption. Let’s educate one and that person then educates another. Let’s dream of an India as it deserves to be.

As Rabindranath Tagore quotes:

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high; where knowledge is free; Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls; Where words come out from the depth of truth; Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection; Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit; Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

A country is known by its geographical location, people, culture and development.
At the end I can only say that it only “WE” who make the nation and it only “WE””who can make “Nation proud””

The major problem in India is that, here each individual thinks that how can I make changes to country alone. But believing in “ The nation is build up by states , states are build up by societies and societies are build up by individuals” I would share my views on what can I do to make India feel proud rather than what can us do to make India feel proud.

In the past 67 years, India has seen countless scientific and technological advancement that have greatly improved the human condition. We are the world’s largest democratic nation, we are the second fastest growing economy in world, and we are the leaders in information technology and many more things to be proud of being Indian. Unfortunately on the other hand India suffers from corruption, poverty, terrorism, environmental abuses and others.

One of the major and biggest problems of India in present scenario is CORRUPTION, according to Indian express Indian ranks 94th among the 176 countries in world. I always believe that “Corruption starts with me and it will end on me only”. I will always say no to bribe and will never offer bribe to anyone for any work. It’s hard to think of any politician in our country whose intention is to do good for the people of the country. They probably have the largest deposits in Swiss banks. Very little in the government machinery moves without money changing hands. They are all mostly there for the power and the money. The Indian constitution provides us a very important tool to diminished and reveal the corruption done by government machineries i.e. RTI (Right To Information). I will always use this tool to know exactly where and how public money is used by the government and its officials.

Tax is a central but neglected element of development policy. Majority of us do not demand bills on purchase of any daily household needs consumables, as a result the whole amount become the black money of shopkeeper. People do not pay the taxes honestly; they manipulate their annual income on papers, so as to pay fewer amounts of taxes. I will always pay my taxes regularly and honestly because I know tax paid by us is utilized by the Governments for my own welfare.

There is the vast inequality among the people in India (about 30% of our population is still under poverty line). I always provide empathy to poor people. I will donate my books to poor children which will help them to be educated. I will also be responsible with my duties, I must be loyal to my country that gives me all that it has, I will always obeys the laws and I will inspire others to value education and encourage them to do so with others. Last but not least, I will always treat myself INDIAN first rather than Delhites/ Hindu first. I will always promote harmony and the spirit of common brotherhood among all the people of India.

To make my country feel proud is hard for an individual like me. But I will always move with these values because I strongly think and believe in Lao Tzu quote “A journey of a thousand miles always begin with a single step.”

Sare Jhaan Se Accha Hindositaan Humara...Hum Bulbulain Hain Iski Ye Gulistaan Humara

Jai Hind …..Jai Bharat

India is a very peaceful and religious country in the word. We have lots of legends who always make us proud like Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev and many more. Who saved us from Britishers and give rights to live as an Indian. We have lots of religion in our country living together. In past there was a day when India was known as “Sone Ki Chidiya”.

In our present we are lacking in terms of Nature, in short we are playing with nature, for this I just have to say.

India should be treated as our mother because she gives us her full source to live in the globe. We should accept our failure in the eradication of the natural resources which should be saved by us. We (yes I can understand, when others making the condition of the war must faced by non-harm for the nature) use the nature for the evil reflection of the science i.e., atomic energy that is not opt way to reach our goal. INDIA IS ALWAYS A PEACEMAKER. So we have to do our works towards forests promotion, chemical restriction on the surface of the earth and the major duty towards our future generation must be kept in their mind our India is soul for them. If we all take a step towards this we can definitely make our future generation proud to be an Indian.

An individual Indian cannot bring a big change but together we Proud Indians can make a big difference. The pace at which we Indians are moving ahead is slow. If we will be moving with this pace then it would take two generations before India would be known as the Greatest Nation of the world...

For me the main Goals are:

• End corruption in India
• At least 90% literacy rate nationwide.
• Better infrastructure in India
• Solve Health Issues and Better health facilities in India
• Equality

Trust me this is not Impossible, “Together we can bring a big difference…”

"We are daily witnessing the phenomenon of the impossible of yesterday becoming the possible of today” - Mahatma Gandhi

We Indians have achieved a lot and I am proud of it. But we Indians can do much more than this:

I can quote a few examples that can prove my points:

• Ours is the largest democratic country
• Indian Economy is One of the largest economies
• One of the most culturally diverse countries
• Indian Military Might, one of the world’s strongest
• World renowned Indian Technical and Management universities-IIT,IIM
• Indian Self sufficiency in agriculture and in certain industrial sectors
• Indian Open economy, helps in trade with other countries
• Abundant resources, natural and Human resources
• India Travel Tourism : Some of the top few Famous destinations ,Tourist Places are in India
• Freedom for the press in India.
• Indian Space program (ISRO) , Defense Research and Development and Nuclear Technology
• We are the first in milk production.
• We are the second largest producer of wheat.
• We are the second largest producer of rice

Now is the time for us to be Proud Indians and make a difference….We are India; the way we react is how India will react. For those who gave their lives for our Freedom or Independence...for those who died protecting our Mother India....for us, for our future generation…

“Garv se Kaho Mai INDIAN Hoon. MERA BHARAT MAHAN !!”

I can’t understand why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements?

Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign dresses and articles. We want foreign technology. Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance??

 We Indian say that our government is inefficient.
 We Indian say that our laws are too old.
 We Indian say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
 We Indian say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke. The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
 We Indian say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.
 We Indian say, say and say. What do we do about it?

Let’s take an example: - Take a person on his way to Singapore. Give him a name - 'ABC'. Give him a face - 'ABC'. Now, ABC walks out of the airport and is at ABC International best. In Singapore ABC don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores. ABC is as proud of their Underground links as they are. ABC pay $5 (approx. Rs. 60) to drive through Orchard Road between 5 PM and 8 PM. ABC come back to the parking lot to punch the parking ticket if he have over stayed in a restaurant or a shopping mall irrespective of his status identity…

In Singapore ABC don't say anything, does he? ABC wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai. ABC would not dare to go out without his head covered in Jeddah.
ABC would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, 'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon ?? I am so and son’s son. Take your two bucks and get lost.' ABC wouldn't through an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand.

Why doesn’t ABC spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo? Why don't ABC use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston??? We are still talking of the same ABC, who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but not in his own, the same ABC who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment he touch Indian ground. If he can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot he be the same here in India?

In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same is the case with Japan. Will the Indian citizen do that here? We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick an up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin. We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.

This applies even to the staff that is known not to pass on the service to the public.

When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, and girl child! And others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home but when it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr. Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand.

By being a law-abiding citizen. We all should be honest to our motherland who will fight against all odds to cleanse the dirt of the society and the country in large. It is high time to raise our voice against all the corruption and unlawful works. We should not indulge ourselves in any job that cause harm to our own motherland by any means.

~~..Let’s make our mother, India, be proud of her children. Let’s make India proud of us.. ~~
