Arun Jaitley's Union Budget is being highly appreciated and given thumps up by the top corporates and the market experts across India and globe. They are calling it balanced, progressive and innovative budget which will provide India reason to believe in double digit growth rate in the coming years. But India is a young country consisting of massive middle class family and this budget for them has been disappointing. The service tax has been increased to 14% which means everything is going to be expensive and on top of that the Diesel price has been increased by Rs 3 overnight which means even the daily commodity price will be increased. So in my opinion the budget was not for the common man but for the top corporates...

#2 Postby Lal » Sat Feb 28, 2015 9:41 am

Today, it is an important day for the Indian economy as well as for NDA government as Arun Jaitely is going to present its first full fledged budget. The corporate sector will be closely watching this budget today as they have high expectations from the new government. What will be future of MNREGA and how the subsidy regime will continue..these all questions will be answered today. This general budget can give new direction to the Indian economy because there are certain things which can transform the Indian economy. If GST gets implemented this year economic pundits are predicting that GDP growth will increase so it means we should simplify our tax system.

Let us see how Mr. Jaitely performs today on this bouncy pitch of parliament.
