There is no doubt whatsoever that Narendra Modi is the best marketing director of India. He has created such an impression towards the people of this country and to the outer world that he is revolutionary in terms of getting results and moving the world's economy towards new growth. He is being portrayed as a new world leader who can bring peace and prosperity along with the economic growth especially in Asian continent. To succeed at his job a marketing director needs to be creative, analytical and good at managing people. Narendra Modi shows proficiency at all of these tasks. He knew very well that to market his party and to convince the people to perceive him as a good prime ministerial candidate, he first needed to manage his brand name, and the brand name ‘Modi’ today resonates with progress and positive change.

As a great marketing director he showed a deep insight into the minds of Indian people, he knew what they wanted and what their needs were, he told them how he would deliver those results better than his competitors. He hired successful advertisers such as Piyush Pandey and Prasoon Joshi to work on BJP’s advertising campaign. The advertising was also done successfully not just on one medium, be it the internet, TV, print media, or radio, his election campaign was highly visible on all the platforms of communication.

Even today he has made twelve trips to other countries to other nations, and through these visits he’s attempting to create the perception of India being an inviting and business friendly country. From marketing himself to marketing his country, he has proved himself to be more than just capable; however whether he can continue doing this through his tenure as the prime minister of India, or not, will prove just how good a marketing director he is.

" Get closer than ever to your customers, so close that you can tell them what they need well before they realize it themselves" Steve Jobs
Narendra Modi is an active man. He does his bit and more to change the nation.
Identifying the need: It did not take long for Mr. Narendra Modi to identify the need of the nation to climb the rungs of the ladder of development. he has rightly designed the "Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan" which is the need of the hour. India has always been ridiculed as a city of filth and dirt. we all remember the ad campaign by Incredible India which shows an Indian woman throwing a banana peel very casually on the road ( which accidentally falls on the camera of a foreign tourist).

Important part of marketing people is that they should understand insight of customers. He understood the what are the needs of Indian people and then he started implementing schemes accordingly like Jan dhan yojana,E-governance,swachh bharat abhiyan. Also he in was in talk other countries like japan,Bhutan etc for their support in energy project. This will help in none other than the common people. Then his next step towards raising the standards of people & making India as a manufacturing hub,for this reason he announced a campaign of Make in India. Also his major step in railway i.e 100% FDI in Railway. That means he allowed foreign investors to invest in India .So this will help to improve the infrastructure of India.Hence from my point of view Narendra Modi is the best Marketing Director of India.

YESS. He used every opportunity and even turned critics to his advantage. Where ever he goes, he struck the chords of the masses by addressing the local problems and issues. He used his Gujarat model successfully. He even understood the power of digital media and attracted young population. In simple he mastered the art of marketing!

Till date YES but in future who knows
In Ideal case role and responsibilities of Marketing Director Vs Worked done by N. Modi
1.Provide planning and the leadership to the marketing department –example- In initial phase he asked other MPs to submit plan for first 100 days and announced relief compensation for Gorkhdham express accident victims.
2.Ensure that the appropriate systems, structures, values and competencies are developed to meet the goals of plan- example -A special investigation team has been set up under the leadership of retired SC Judge M Shah to bring back black money that has flown out of India
3.Responsibility for developing annual plan for the organization, for field force activities and control of marketing budget-example- The ongoing workshop * training program for the newly elected MPs shall have the senior leaders like Sushma Swaraj, Venkahaiah Naidu, Arun Jaitley address, teach and train the rookies in parliamentary proceedings, rights and duties as MPs, on how to spend their MPLAD fund for their constituencies, parliamentary etiquette, usage of social media, public conduct etc.
4.Participate in other industry committees for ensuring that the company has high level of professional standing.-example-Attending and going for foreign visit to make relationship more strong for fetching foreign investment in Indian market i.e. trying to maintain international relations.
5.Organize and direct marketing meetings on a regular basis whereby strategy programs are reviewed example- After certain period of time, arranged meeting with MPs and he asked MPs to submit their reports against worked done.
Apart from above, he has done too many things like meeting with SAARC leaders, raised the isssues of Tamilian in talks with Sri Lankan President, sanctioned 18 crores for re-building Ganga ghat in Varanasiso and so forth. All his works make him the best marketing director of India.

Yes, I believe so.If you observe the marketing technique of Modi, he is surrounding the world with his presence from nearest like Nepal to one of the farthest ( USA ). He is trying his best to remove the stigma of India as an " Unfavorable business place". Have few points to support the argument:

1. He is pragmatic- He clearly understands what you want to say and what you mean. He listens to you and then answers. During his meetings with CEOs in US, he convinced them whenever you will visit India, there will be red carpet for them and this is what those investors wanted.

2. He knows his audience- Youth is the biggest power who can change the course of time of any country, anywhere in world. He targets them using social media and other methods. When he went to US or Japan, didn't forget to meet with the youth there, he asked everyone to visit India which is totally different now.

3. He knows the need of hour- Every investor needs a business friendly environment, he promises them, Every tourists wants to be safe when land to a foreign soil, Modi guarantees them. Every premiers of other country wants a friendly nation, Modi has assured them.

4. He offers solutions- Unlike many other politicians, he believes in offering the solutions rather than just counting the problems. Mayor of New Jersey and other dignitaries of different states of US praised Modi calling them as a "Man Of Action" India eagerly waiting since Independence. One of them said- For the first time, an Indian politician is not asking the businessman to invest in India, but he is telling them' Why you should invest in India. He is a true Marketer"

See his planning to make India self-reliant by inviting the foreign investors to 'Make in India" sell to the world. Even now people of India have increased confidence.
In marketing, very well said by Marketing Guru' Philip Kotler" that people do not buy your product , they buy you. This is what Modi has done. He has created such a tremendous trust in India through him that many many have started believing him.

Lets agree to disagree but I believe him because he's me. You believe him because he's you . We all believe him because he's We.
