Lying is not a trend in sales but to make sales..people are lying. No one appreciates the lying not even the company you are working for. Sales by lies may happen one time, cant be repeated and it also degrades the brand. And now a days buyers are so smart, they cant be fooled so easily. So as a sales person neither we should do it, nor appreciate it
In general sales persons don't have a good reputation when it comes to honesty.That's a shame, because honesty isn't only the best policy in sales too, it can also be the most profitable one. You don't need to lie to move product. By spending your time and effort creating lasting, honest relationships and real long-term value, you can meet your numbers without worrying your conscience.Successful sales people create value in their interactions with customers, and one of the main ways they do that is by establishing an honest, straightforward relationships.
