The manager suddenly remembers that the room rate is £25 and gives £5 to the bellboy to return to the people.
On the way to the room the bellboy reasons that £5 would be difficult to share among three people so he pockets £2 and gives £1 to each person.
Now each person paid £10 and got back £1.
So they paid £9 each, totalling £27. The bellboy has £2, totalling £29.
Where is the missing £1?
there is nothing missing.....
You have to go by accounts of either manager or by customers....u r mixing it up by taking both....
manager got the hotel room charge i.e 25.....
3 is returned to customer and two is kept by bellboy-- adds up to 30..
when customer were returned money, they thought they were charged 27 for this and hence 3 is returned...again it adds up to 30 as they dont knw bellboy kept 2...
if u look by room cost wise..they actually paid 8.33....which makes 25....3 returned.... and 2 is kept with bellboy..
question of accountancy...........everyone has to look at his own account....

They might be born at the same time on the same day eg.Sunday of different weeks of the same month and same year because same week is not the condition in the problem.
consider same day, same week too......
They are triplets..
