The merger of Publicis Group SA with Omnicon Group Inc. will create the world's largest advertising company..and it just wont do this only, it will mean longtime rivals such as Coca-Cola Co. and PepsiCo Inc. are sharing the same firm for their advertising campaigns.
This deal will bring together a large no. of global clients and their business will have $23 billion in sales, but the company after this merger has put itself in a state of crafting the campaigns that criticize its own customers.Although the company has made the statement that they have already spoke to their significant clients and they have no issues with this they just congratulated them for this venture.
Coca-Cola & Pepsi are known as the world's largest beverage firms and they are also the highest-profile competitors which will be brought under the same shed after this deal.In the beverage industry they are known for their products and with that for their rivalry also, Pepsi gave it a start in the early 70s when in one of their ad campaigns they offered consumers taste tests for both drinks..while Coca-Cola has never tried to do any direct harm to Pepsi's image..they just do their ad campaigns with some taglines, which could work when a customer think of buying a drink..like one was Always Coca-Cola.
